9" x 3" White Plastic Adjustable Air Vent Grille with Flyscreen Cover

I received this today and installed within 5 minutes ( never fitted one before. ) It was really easy to fit. I have a bit of mould in my bedroom and I don't like opening the window because I have a fear of spiders and insects. So the flyscreen helps alot. It feels high quality even with the cheap price tag. It does what I need it to do like let air in and out... But will it get rid of mould? Only time will tell.

Great little vent. Used to replace an old yellowing vent that protruded from the wall in our living room.It is quite cheap. Does not protrude much. Although it will keep most critters out, it may not create a flush seal over any hole (e.g. if you dill 4 corner holes too close together, forcing the vent to warp slightly. We're talking on a pedantic level here. It's probably fine for most uses. Like the slick slide open/close design too.Having a wife that is petrified of spiders, I grabbed a bit of mesh I had lying around which I glued over the hole, then fixed the vent over the top. It acts as a safety net, and is not really necessary, but gives me peace of mind knowing that it now has a perfect seal.In my opinion, that was a worthwhile trade off considering the low price of the vent, and the price of alternatives.Would/will buy again.

As always, it's a bit of a lottery fixing things to a wall. Even if you use a really good metal, stud, electricity detector, things can go wrong. I was lucky with this job and it looks fine. Glad I've finished.

I bought this 9" x 3" White Plastic Adjustable Air Vent Grille With Flyscreen Cover to replaced an old vent without a cover. This air vent is very easy to installed and the cover can slide open and shut very easily. Most importantly it keeps the draughts out when the cover is closed. A cheap and functional product and I am very pleased with it!!

I needed the product in my mobile home to replace a missing air vent. Screws would have been helpful but simple to fit and does the job.
