PUREGUSTO Italian Passion - ESE Coffee Pods (100)

This coffee is stunning! Much nice than their signature blend! The perfect tasting coffee for use in my Smeg coffee machine. Would not want to be without these. So much nicer than more expensive brands and superb value for money!

Have purchased the variety "Italian Passion" for a few years now and it has been excellent flavourful / strong coffee. However, a more recent delivery of the Pure Gusto Italian passion ESE Pods was received in which the pods were in a silver foil and not the usual brown/blue wrapping and was only labelled as "ITALIAN" and I feel along with others that have tried this that it is WEAK with little flavour. Has anyone else noticed a difference?

For me this is the best of all the decaf available as the coffee loses NO taste whatsoever. Highly recommended to all coffee lovers.Also it is worth trying all the range of PureGusto ESE coffees, they really take a lot of beating, both for taste and value for money.

Been buying this gorgeous coffee for a while, never disappoints. 5 stars for the Coffee, however only 3 under the 'easy to use' heading, for this latest box. The coffee pods are in a different type of foil bag than usual and it seems that when they were in the sealing machine the glue (warm sealant, or whatever) has sometimes snagged the paper of the pod meaning they tear open when removing them from the foil. Depending on how snagged they were, determines how big the tear is. Sometimes coffee is everywhere, pod wasted. PureGusto has been great about it and supplied another box.

I have had Italian Passion coffee by Caffe Prima from Garraways via Amazon for several years now and been very happy with it indeed. So I was a bit hesitant of ordering this product from PureGusto when the Garraways version vanished from Amazon. However, when it arrived and we drank it, we have found it just as good as the Garraways version. It's still and rich tasting coffee, full of flavour and really strong, just what we like. Furthermore, this version has free delivery as well!

I have purchased these pods for my Dedica a number of times and they have been excellent. Not so this time. They arrived looking great but as i have worked my way through the box i have had (at latest count) 30 pods i cannot use. On opening the silver packs i find that the paper pod was not sealed properly (some seem off-center), the coffee has leaked in the packaging or they have 'blown' whilst filtering in my machine. Shame as they are usually fab! I should have contacted Gusto, but as everyone is on lockdown i didnt bother. oh well!

Delivery was was quick, the coffee is a little strong for me but friends and family like it so I don't expect it to be around long.

Ordered two boxes coz me and my husband drink loads of espressos. Ended up with a lot - probably 50% of bags ripped and unable to use. Emailed a complaint and got a very quick part refund. Am hoping it was just a bad batch - however if it were to happen again it might put me off ordering more, which would be a shame because if you like strong coffee with a great taste, I would definitely recommend this.
