I got extra lipo foam for post tummy tuck and lipo to love handles. It’s soft and comfortable underneath my compression garment. It keeps my incision from rubbing on my binder as well. I’ve also hand washed and reused them many times. Good value and good product!

I like how thick the lipo foams are, and they are super comfortable. I would recommend. The item I purchased came with 5 lipo foam pads, and I like that because I know that if I get blood or other bodily fluids on them I would like to have extras to replace them.

I got this product to serve as a cushion under a walking cast post surgery. I had been using regular foam not intended for a bandage purpose. This is a huge improvement. It is quite soft against the skin so I can put it on without adding a barrier. Thus means that there are no sources of unevenness where I feel pressure. (Think I no intermediate layer wrinkling). It is easily trimmed and I like the thickness. I can double it up, while cutting out a hole in the lower layer ( like you might do for a blister with a different well known cushion product). The double thickness is enough to relieve pressure without creating tightness. I can address how much it can absorb given my use but I will mention that I am blown away by how soft and silky smooth it is.

I ordered these foam boards in prep for breast reconstruction after mastectomy. They will be taking a flap of tissue from my abdomen, feed it under my skin up to my chest with blood vessels still attached. SCARY! So, I bought these pads to aid in heeling. The concept is that it will heel flat against the board and I've done quite a bit of reading about it. This price is great compared to what I saw in my local body shaper garment store and you even get more. The feel, weight and texture is identical so I recommend this product as you can just toss them vs reusing the same one week after week while you heal.

Surgery recovery is painful and after lipo, they make you wear these compression garments. The compression garments are uncomfortable but necessary to get the required result of your surgery. Putting these foam pads in-between your skin and the compression garment will really ease the discomfort. They can absorb any sweat or fluid coming out of your skin and prevent weird lines from forming on your skin. They help even out the pressure. You don't have to use the whole pad in one place either, you can cut pieces off to customize your foam. This foam is really durable too so you don't have to throw it away after one use.

I have to admit - I had a second applications in mind, as soon as I opened the pack. For comfort with compression of various post surgical needs, not lipo per se.And, I swear, this is a perfect foam to use as knitting machine needle sponge bars. The foam is 1/2 inch thick. And had good bounce back (hard to find this, machine knitters).This was comfortable, no skin wrinkling. A soft, kind of warm feel while wearing it. But I didn’t get sweaty. Nice. Worth a try. (I’ll come back if I ever try it as a sponge bar.)
