Q: I have an other set of this knifes with a self sharpening block. Can I store the knife in that block ????

You have enlightened me, as I had never heard of a self-sharpening block. What a brilliant concept! I sharpen my Zwilling Santoku knife after every second use on a Lantana 3-step sharpener. Based on my limited experience, my guess is that your block should be fine. I hope you get a more definitive answer from the manufacturer. Good luck!
