the included kydex pancake sheath was dangerously tight, and required loosening by prying the two sides apart with a screwdriver. Something to keep in mind. Otherwise the knife itself is good quality, and ultralight. It cuts things well (like my finger while pulling it from the kydex sheathe).

Great size EDC fixed blade. Comes sharp enough to cut a sheet of paper without snagging . One upgrade is to add a ulticlip to give it a lower profile.

Excellent. I like the wide blade, the well fitting narrow handle and scales. The only thing I would change is the length of the handle. I would make it 1” longer to accomodate a larger hand. It is easy to carry for edc in the frontal SCOUT position and in this mode I think is the perfect position for fixed blade carry. The QC is excellent in this knife. I would buy it again! 😜

Delivery was fast. The knife feels good in my hand. Very sharp right out the box. Sheath is snug and has absolutely no rattling, it's not a struggle to remove the knife. I really like the knife my only complaint is it is not a $100 plus knife. I like Civivi knifes and I have several of them and plan on getting a few more. But I also have the Stormridge (very nice knife by the way I do recommend) and got it under $100 and in my opinion it feels way more sturdier. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because of the price. Would I buy it again after seeing it and feeling it? Yes but would be a little irritated about the price.

Much better alternative to the Mkc war goat just get an ulti clip to put on your kydex sheath. You have all you need and it’s fantastic, wicked sharp. Civivi makes great knives, I have a great folder from them. A no-brainer.

I recently purchased this knife for EDC but it's "baptism by fire" was to accompany me on a hunting trip. It lived in the "scout position" on my belt for six days and was beaten up by jeep seats, my backpack, rocks, trees, etc.. Neither the knife nor sheath (after being cleaned) show any signs of wear. It easily handled cutting sticks, rope, cloth, etc.. My only observation is that this blade is a slicer. It doesn't cut very well if you try and push it through a rope or even a piece of cardboard. However, if you slice with the knife (like you would a steak) then it zips right through.
