Inflexible Hose/Expensive Wifey
The Rago videos show nice flexible air whips but the kit only includes stiff plastic hose. The Shrader valve chucks are cheaply made and it is difficult to get a good connection when attaching the whips. The mounting bracket for the manifold (the "Wifey Block Mount") is not included in the kit and costs an additional $50, which is ridiculous for a tiny aluminum part. Installation directions are poor. You can buy the parts yourself and get exactly what you need.Update: Finally hit the trail with my new wifey kit. The plastic hose was installed about 3" away from the cat converter and the hose melted. (My bad.) But it wasn't touching the exhaust system. In fact, I found places that were 6" from the exhaust that were also showing initial signs of melting. Wish I had known the hose was broken before I connected the air whips and deflated all four of my tires in about 20 seconds. Then I burned out my alternator refilling the tires and paid for a $380 tow. Then, I found out that most hardware stores only stock parts for 1/4" air hose. Also, I can't find good quality valve chucks in the 3/8" size to I'll need to replace my air whips with 1/4" hoses, eliminating any benefit of the wifey 3/8" hoses in the rest of the system. What a mess. My recommendation: Just buy a nice 20' air hose since it takes as much room to store the whips as it does to store a nice flexible 20' hose. The only reason for two stars instead of one is that I like the ability to see the pressure in all 4 tires from one gauge.
