Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Wireless Gaming Headset for PS4 and PS5

I have gone through many different headsets (wired) and they never seem to last very long since the wires always get ripped or damaged in some way making the headset not able to work. So I thought I'd try a wireless headset.I was looking for a headset that was wireless, had a soft cushion around the ears making it comfortable for long gaming sessions, possible bass boost and surround sound. I'm pleased to say, this headset does it all. The battery life is Very long lasting giving you lots of hours having an epic experience hearing every crisp detail. The battery life is one big thing I was concerned about before I got it since it's wireless. I am able to use the headset for most of an entire day and charging takes up very little time. The mic is very clear, no muffling sound when speaking. You can also flip the mic up and down so it's not stuck in one place all the time (Up for mute and down for speaking).So you're probably thinking what are the negatives? Obviously the price maybe a little high but that's probably just because of the brand. Honestly, I couldn't think of a single bad thing about this headset. It does everything I was looking for and have not been disappointed.If you have any questions about this product then feel free to ask.

The Stealth 700-headphones are well made, look good and stylish, they are adjustable to suit and comfortable to wear, the microphone folds back out of the way when not in use or muted which is a nice feature, they also have a Bluetooth facility should you require it. (However) the on/off and other two buttons were difficult to use whilst wearing the headset, there are two wheels one for the volume and the other seemed to have no function? I found the sound left much to be desired! There was far too much bass with no mid tones! The online audio hub did nothing to alleviate this, I found that chatting to my friends was difficult because they could not understand me a lot of the time and I found it difficult to understand them, as a reference I also have a turtlebeach 520 set with which I can hear/speak with friends online perfectly, to be fair it may be that I had a rogue set but they put me off sets that have DTS X surround sound in future, hence the three stars

I bought this headset for my PS4 to get the best surround sound experience. I went with this model after reading lots of positive reviews.It was very easy to set up and connect to the console. After many hours of use I can say it has been very comfortable to wear and I have had no issues with connectivity. The sound is great and the noise cancellation works well to block out the console fan sound and other distractions.Using iphone, it connects automatically when the headset turns on and the phone audio plays through the headset. I turn game volume down on the headset if I want to hear my phone audio while playing or get a good mix of the two.Initially i didn’t use the headset App, but since I have started using the flip down mic to chat with other players, I have used it to boost chat when needed. Also with the noise cancellation i can’t really hear my own voice while playing, so I use the monitor function in the App to put my mic into the headset mix.Overall great product that I would happily recommend.

The headset does not offer the best in terms of the sound quality, HOWEVER it is very good at sound and in general footstep tracking. In call of duty warzones for example I can hear the direction of bullets and explosions whilst identifying footsteps. For me this is not a headset you would use in a non-competitive setting such as single player games like the witcher and god of war.It is important that I compare this to my previous headset. I had a steelseries pro+gamedac which had much better sound quality, but when playing a game like warzone you could not balance the sounds to be comfortable. This headset had a great deal of settings and I had done great research to ensure I had it optimally setup for the best sound. To be brief this headset lacked the ability to hear everything without one sound overwhelming the others and causing an earbleed. In contrast the Turtle Beach 700 was plug, play and just enjoy.The mic is good enough. I do not seem to have issues when speaking to anybody on pc discord or PS4.The build quality feels a little flimsy, but I think that with me it should last at least 2 years. I will come back and change my review if possible if this is not the case. If you throw your headset or you are clumsy in general then this headset may be too delicate.For the above reasons I can really appreciate this headset, as it is simple and works from the box without any research. The wireless sound works for competitive the best at a decent enough price. There is a reason a lot of streamers are using headsets like this :).The bluetooth works great and I can easily pair to my phone and answer phone calls. I have an issue when using discord on my phone, which can be a bit buggy and friends say that I am a little quite. My microphone use in phone calls have been reported to sound normal. This is a good headset for me to take phone calls and play. I currently use a cheap android phone with this headset. Compatibility may vary for other phone users.The final negative is that I cannot easily connect this to my PS4 and PC at the same time. The cable for the optical out of the playstation to the connect for the USB is extremely short. This means that is I wanted to connect the usb to my pc then it would have to be sat right next to my playstation to get Playstation sound. A minor point as I assume most people will only use this for Playstation or PC.The headset is great for my personal taste in sound. If the sound was not so good for tracking I would have reviewed the headset less for the negative points mentioned above.
