Excellent solution for using newer iPhones in the car or with external speakers
(Note that this is new--so I cannot vouch for the longevity of this product, but so far, excellent)This cable is the perfect solution for those of us with new iPhones - with no audio jack - who want to plug our phones into our car audio or external speaker systems. What's especially well-designed is that this is a good quality standard audio jack WITH A CONVERTER which fits on the end, so the cable can be used for standard audio connections. The cable on both pieces is very well made, with cross-webbed sheathing on the outside (flexible and strong), rather than the usual rubber coating (which frequently separates). The connectors appear to be good quality and are solidly attached to the cables. Given the price, I was a bit wary, but figured it was worth a shot. Definitely worth the price.

Works well
I put it in my car and it’s the perfect length to reach my phone holder

Broke, but lasted a long time
So mine broke. The sound quality isn’t great anymore and the cord is fraying. I’m giving this 5 stars though because it lasted just over 3 years which is pretty awesome considering it’s so cheap and I drive a lot so I got a ton of usage out of it.

works as expected
-Works just as expected-the ports fit securely on all ends-The material is a nice flex cord and is sturdy so it won't wear and break-long enough to be able to use comfortably-having the 3in1 is much nicer, to have the attachment, for when you need it-It is small and compact and giving dual purpose for my recording needs-good long size and for a great price. almost the same as the single cord cables, just 2 dollars more, great deal

Used in a Mini Cooper with Aux In
My Mini Cooper is old enough to lack Bluetooth and USB, and the radio is a major project to upgrade.I like my cars to remain original, and the Mini has a 3.5mm auxiliary input.This cord attaches to my iPhone and allows me to playback my audio excellent sound quality. I use my Apple Music and even my SiriusXM iPhone app for playback without having to buy another satellite radio.No, it does NOT charge the phone while being used in this way, but I'm OK with that since I keep my phone charged.I recommend this for your situation if it sounds like mine.

I Don't Usually Write Reviews But.......
I have reasonable expectations with products, especially products that cost $13. My expectation with a product such as this is that it will work but maybe not last that long. Well, it is basically unusable right out of the box. When the phone is plugged in it has to remain perfectly still so you don't get a very loud static noise and that is if you can even get it to work in the first place. The problem is the barrel connector from the pigtail to the aux cable, there is just not a good connection. If you work with it to try to get a good connection, songs will skip, volume will change, audio will come out of only one speaker etc. etc. This morning the barrel connector shield came off (after 3 days) and I was hopeful that it would solve the problem because I thought it might eliminate a grounding issue but alas, not to be. So yes, it is only a $13 product but it is more about not wasting your time and expecting something to work, do yourself a favor and find another product.

There are some flaws...
I give this product a 3/5. There’s some flaws, one of them I find really annoying was that to get the optimal sound quality, you will need to first insert the small converter to your phone with the aux wire disconnected. Then, insert the aux wire into our car and plugging it into the converter attached to your phone. Doing this the sound quality will allow all speakers in your car to work, otherwise your only going to hear music from 1 out 5 speakers in your car if you plug the entire wire into your phone. Not sure if that’s how the product is or I just got a janky one.Wire length and quality is durable, that’s solid. Overall, it’s a hassle for sure, but it works on my 2008 Nissian Sentra and iPhone XS.

A+++++
Very sturdy rough outer layer cord and works great! A lot better than your normal aux wire. This one will last 10xs longer than your usual aux cord. The nice part about this aux cord as well is that if you have an iPhone and Samsung then you can okay both phones because this aux cord is compatible with iPhone and Samsung. Yes it’s a little pricier but it’s an investment, well worth the money, and you always pay for what you get.
