Perfect. No leaks, good quality
I bought two of these to connect copper pipe plumbing to a stainless pipe. You need brass to sit between copper and stainless. These worked great.

Copper union worked well!
The copper union worked as advertised. It fit properly. It could be cleaned easily. It was soldered without any problems.

Leakes
I bought 4 of these for my home filter system. All 4 leakes. tighten them down more and more. Should not have to add sealant on the mating ends. I cannot return due as I already soldered them together. I dont know what else I can do. Mag, why are they leaking?

Solid construction. Hard to find.
I used these unions on either side of a check valve in a system where everything was soldered in. Now I can replace the valve without de-soldering. I had trouble with them leaking on the threaded side, even with Teflon tape and two 18" wrenches. Had to disassemble and use PTFE pipe compound. That worked. Despite the plumbing bufoonery, these worked great. Neither the big box store nor the plumbing supply near me carries these.

I had no problem installing these. I use them outside on a sprinkler RPZ valve.

Expensive but seems to work
I used this on the pressure relief line of a tankless water heater. Since this line is not under pressure, I can't speak to its effectiveness under pressure. I'm a novice at sweating pipe an managed to get a little solder on the union face. It cleaned off OK, but just a warning that it's a little difficult to solder.
