Q: Does it come with cleaning solution

Yes. A small bottle that doesn't last too long. You can either get microfiber/ pad cleaning solution separate or use it with clean water alone and that works fine too.

Q: Does it work with microfiber pads?

Yes it does but I still have to somewhat scrub them before and after I wash.....it seemed to be basically designed for foam pads......does not work well with cyclo polishers

Q: Do I have to use a chemical?

No, you can use straight water, however, the pad cleaner will help remove compound build up and thoroughly clean your pads.

Q: Can you clean pads with a rotary machine? The description clearly states for Dual Action polishers several times.

Yea it will work for a rotary machine. Works pretty good with the pad cleaning solution. Really extends the useful life of a pad.
