Quality
It's missing the container that holds the dish soap. The package itself the way it was designed it looks like it couldn't have room for the container even though it shows it on the package description

Way too sensitive -- wasted soap
Suspicious that the website says it's Rubbermaid, but the box and instruction manual are completely unbranded. The manual mentions a warranty, but there's no company name or contact information anywhere to be found! Besides all that, the major flaw I've found with this automatic soap dispenser is that it's way too sensitive; if your hand (or another object, such as a plate) moves anywhere nearby -- and I mean *anywhere* nearby -- soap squirts out -- what a waste! (and the Rubbermaid soap that goes with this dispenser is *not* cheap). Maybe I got a defective one, but I doubt it. I would steer clear of this one for sure! There are better One Shot dispensers out there in my opinion, such as 402241.

Soap doesn't dispense quickly and it drips for minutes after use
Bought this, got plumber to install this for $125 with hole in my quartz. Then got $18 14 D cells (though I need only 4) from Costco and then when i started using it, found that the dispenser continues to drips soap after use. Also on repeat use, we saw that the soap dispensing takes time. i.e you need to attempt few times at sensor before soap can make it. (it again drips post use)Thirdly the amount of soap coming out is very little so you got to try multiple times to get desired soap quanityty
