First of all, I believe that the “Water repellent dog coats” are very well made and you will be glad with your choice from FurHaven! As for sizing, I’d follow their sizing guide in the listing very closely. If your Pup’s size fits in the middle of a size category, then go with that size. If your Pup is in between two sizes I would order the smaller size. The coat I purchased was for my son’s pup, who normally wears a small. I wasn’t able to measure him, so I went with the small. My son’s pup is “very” small and I wound up having to order the next size down…(an XSm) and it fits perfectly!! The small coat fit my son’s Maltese perfectly, but she’s got such a heavy coat that she didn’t need a dog coat or I would have kept both coats.. FurHaven has a great return policy and I was able to get the extra-small in time for Christmas… You won’t be disappointed buying a dog coat from FurHaven!! I’m very pleased with my purchase and experience with this company and it’s product!!
