Not what I expected but you can make kombucha with it
Not enough starter fluid included so I had to make a smaller first batch of kombucha. Also not to sound petty but the image shows a nice little note giving the scoby personality but this was not actually present on the item. It was also clearly a piece cut from a larger scoby rather than a whole small scoby. Overall it is a good product as I'm now brewing a decent size batch of kombucha and the scoby is healthy and growing it just wasn't what I expected from the listing.
