Tiny device, amazing sound!
I was sceptical about the quality of this device as it is such good value. If you are worried about this, stop and look no further! I cannot recommend this product highly enough. It's light, portable and comes with all the cables you will ever need to connect to a hi-fi, amp, etc. Some have complained of the sound quality but I am sat now listening some good old British Rock music and the quality is amazing, punch and not over-bassy. In fact, I can't tell the difference between this and connecting straight from my laptop using the headphone cable!!I actually bought this because the headphone socket on my faithful Samsung laptop has broken and I worked it out it would be cheaper to by this Bluetooth receiver rather than get the laptop fixed! The only thing I would say is that I initially had issues get Windows 7 to pair with the device The moral of the story is: make sure you have the correct / latest Bluetooth drivers installed on your PC (which of course I didn't!!). Once my laptop drivers were correct installed and rebooted, it took only a second or two for the laptop and MR230B to pair. It delivers wonderful, crisp sound and I would happily buy one for a friend or relative.Buy one today. You will NOT regret it!

August Blutooth Adaptor.
Purchased this to stream music to my Home Cinema. It functions very well, and transfers audio at good quality, as far as I'm concerned. What is disappointing it that the Bluetooth range falls off severely, and very quickly as the battery runs down. This is quite an issue as the phone or computer needs to be almost next to the unit to stream audio. If plugged into a mains charger during use, it just creates an awful hum so it is good in principal but falls down badly on practicality. Then I upgraded my system to include an AV receiver. This has a USB socket on the rear. Now I have the unit plugged into that and phono leads to the Auxilliary input. Works like a dream as it's always on full power.August products do seem quite good for a reasonable price. We have 2 of their Bluetooth Speakers around the home too. Brilliant for such tiny units!

Stopped working after an hour
Stopped working after an hour. When it arrived I plugged it in with a usb adaptor I already had because none is supplied with this. I was able to pair with my ipad and my new ipod but not my 4G ipod touch which may be using an older version of bluetooth but it connects to other bluetooth devices I have. An hour later I went to really use it but it would not appear in the lists on the devices and the LEDs on the unit would not light up. The charging light lights up when plugged in but that may simply indicate current coming in from the charger. Otherwise the unit seems dead. The unit is very light and has a slight rattle, not something completely loose just not fixed solid. The two audio cable with it are functional but the cheapest and shortest I've ever seen. the usb cable is fine but unlike most units this is not a micro usb so you need this cable to charge with and cannot use the same as you would for your phone.I suspect that cheap units like this have a relatively high failure rate. if you get a good one you are in luck, I just wasn't.

Poor sound quality
You get what you pay for.By that I mean, it has great functionality. Easy to set up and pair, LED indicators for status, it can be used while it is beign charged, so is perfect for old hifi systems without bluetooth. This is good if you want it to stay in the same place. On the flip side, the sound quality is questionable. going from a relitively expensive AUX cord, to this bluetooth reciever there is a noticeable drop it audio quality, this isn't me just being picky as I rarely write reviews. It doesn't quite manage the highs or lows, with faint background crackling. For the money, it is fine. But don't buy expecting to make your super expensive hifi wireless, as it is a compromise between mobility and quality.

FANTASTIC LITTLE DEVICE!
What a clever little gadget!I wanted to play music from my Android devices through my (very old) Sony stereo system, without spending a fortune. This TINY device does exactly that, at a ridiculously low price!Within 5 mins of it dropping through my letterbox, it was playing music from my Samsung Galaxy Fame phone (from its micro SD card) as well as from my Samsung Tablet E (streaming Amazon Prime Music - which is great, btw). That's how quick and easy it was!Only problem was that my Sony stereo has no "Aux" input - so I tried the rarely-used "phono" (record player) input. (I'm old enough to know the drawbacks of vinyl, which the young 'uns have yet to discover...)Unfortunately, this input gave a muddy, slightly distorted, sound - disappointing, but not the fault of the new device, I soon realised.Using the "Video" audio input on the stereo instead cured the problem - and it now sounds great!(Have ordered - from Amazon - a 3.5mm to STACKABLE phono plugs cable, so that the cables from the new device and TV/video can all stay plugged-in all the time, to save fiddling-about changing them.)(BTW, I am using the USB socket on my PVR to power the device (using supplied cable ) - so no need to hunt around for an old 5V phone charger and to keep scrabbling about on the floor to plug it in/out.)

Good but poor latency/delay
This is a great little device for playing music without wires, BUT...... if you are intending to use this as a wireless link for a musical instrument (eg a virtual instrument on an iPad, forget it. The delay between pressing a note on the keyboard and the sound appearing at the audio output of the receiver is about 200 milliseconds. This is too long for live performance.
