Only one flaw
Topical Citizen quality with the 8204 movement. The bracelet is actually good quality as well with solid links and end links, with the usual pins and collars that Citizen uses. This new Fugu edition only has only one flaw and it’s the same one as the older full lume dial model NY0040 had. The dial is illegible in the dark. You would think with a full lume dial it would be great at night but that’s not the case. The hands are also lumed in the same color as the dial and you just can’t see them with the dial glowing. For the first few minuets you can make out the hands after you’ve stepped into a dark room but they quickly fade to the same shade as the dial and are no longer visible. It is a very good looking watch in the daylight as the dial is a unique color and will get noticed. If you don’t care about being able to read it all night long in the dark than it will serve you well. I kinda just consider it a bit of a fun novelty watch. Enjoy!

Difficult to read
Missing light on the dark.

How difficult is that, to make a near perfect Symmetrical watch
A $500 watch with asymmetric dial & bezel, not only the markings are not symmetric to each other, but the dial & bezel are misaligned. How do you justify this?

NOT Ecodrive, less than average accuracy
This is NOT an Ecodrive watch, despite Amazon's description (verified with Citizen). Accuracy is less than average - for this model (8204), the stated specification is "Average daily difference of -20 to +40 seconds" per the watch's manual (mine loses almost a minute per day). A watch is supposed to tell you the time - with better than +10/-20 minutes accuracy/month! You can wax poetic about the packaging, I'd prefer a watch that keeps accurate time, and for this price one that comes with a manual I don't have to hunt for online...

Solid Promaster Diver Watch
I want to dive (no pun intended) into the packaging before getting into the watch itself and features. The watch arrives in a black Citizen box w/ black Styrofoam holding the watch case securely. The watch case is a clever small tank-like case that pulls open revealing the watch. There is a small booklet with directions on the functionalities of the Promaster Dive and its specs. On the back of the watch, you have an image of the Japanese puffer fish, Diver's 200 Meters, Sapphire, and Magnetic Resistant.Take notice that the crown to adjust the time is on the left side at 8:00, whereas many watches come with the dial on the right side by 3:00 or 4:00 o'clock. If you're a lefty, this crown location will be helpful. By pulling it out, you can adjust time, and pulling some more the day of the week and calendar day.Face of the watch has a nice light yellow tint that glows in the dark. The other watches I have, only the hour and minute hand illuminates in the dark. With the Citizen Promaster Dive, the entire watch face has radiance including the hour and minute hand. You can adjust the day and date with the same dial as the time. The bracelet is push pins. I've taken a couple links out to have a better custom fit. I am not a big fan of the actual clasp and the black bracelet. The bracelet will easily show scratches and marks over time. I would consider changing the band out to a black silicon rubber. That is my personal preference, it doesn't take away from the overall score.Nevertheless, this is a very good luxurious watch at an affordable price point. The watch face, gleam at night, smooth bezel rotation, and overall solid black appearance makes this a solid choice.
