Works on Dell XPS 9700, no problems and the laptop BIOS discovered it is 130W. Charges battery and runs on AC. Looks the same and does exactly as the original. Bargain, save a bit more applying Amazon 10% voucher.

Barely used, already overheated and broken. Doesn't charge anymore.

First things. This a neat, small and compact charger. It does it's business really well and charges very quickly. As it should with 130W of power. Size and weight, if you are travelling, is an obvious concern. The mains lead has (almost) more bulk than the charger itself.There are two problems or downsides to this charger. First. The manufacturers specifically advise not using it to charge any but the specified list of Dell laptops. It isn't clear, but I am guessing that means this charger isn't one of the clever ones that automatically adjusts output as required - so no fast charging your phone or anything else with a USB C input. Second problem is value for money. It is nearly twice the price of several chargers on Amazon with identical specifications.I have given this charger five stars because it charges quickly; it does precisely what is advertised. However, I received the charger as part of the Vine programme so cost was not an issue. If it was my money I would be considering one of the 'similar items'

I'm impressed by how compact this charger is, given that it can output 130W of power! World well with my Dell XPS laptop. Games etc run exactly as they did with the genuine power supply and this one doesn't get anywhere near as hot as the Dell one so that's a bonus! Compact and fits well in my laptop bag. Highly recommend this replacement!
