Q: What does the winch come with?

It comes with everything that you need including the synthetic rope, fairlead, wiring harness, and control switch. If you are replacing an existing winch, you should be able to splice the wires and use the existing controls.

Q: Is this a good winch for utv's? i have a 2017 polaris 900 and want to make the right choice.

It really depends, most of the Polaris 900 UTVs winch mounts have the mounting bolt patterns for the smaller winches, 3500 and below. We'd need to know your exact model to know if this winch would work. The Vantage line is WARN's standard line. If you're looking for the best built winch, you'd want the ProVantage line. WARN does make a 4500 short drum with the short pattern as well. In short, more info required.

Q: Would this be a good option to mount on a car trailer?

It should work to pull a disabled car that will "roll" onto the trailer. I'm not sure that it would pull a vehicle that has a flat tire, locked wheel(s), etc. Also, I've been told that winches often get stolen off of trailers. A Warn winch would be appealing for someone to steal so make sure you secure it properly. I agree with one of the other responses that the synthetic rope might be overkill for a trailer winch.
