Good life good price
I am a professional knife sharpener and handle tens of thousands of knives a year. The Kershaw brand is an inexpensive solid knife that can’t be beat. You can spend hundreds of dollars more on a knife with only minimal improvement. I’m going to lose it or give it away eventually and this way it doesn’t hurt as much.I’ve been carrying Kershaw‘s for years and they are just great convenient Knives. I love the speed safe opening abilities.

Remains hard to open, in spite of tweaking
I really like the knife for its size and shape. It’s a very practical one hander. It was initially extremely stiff and difficult to open, and I made several adjustments, which helped a little. I have read that because it doesn’t have a safety button like the leak and scallion, it was deliberately made more difficult to open so that it wouldn’t open inadvertently in a pocket. Could be, who am I to judge? The bottom line is, if I want to keep the blade pretty well centered, then I can’t back off the pivot enough to make it open easily. I want to like this knife, but it really isn’t my favorite Kershaw. Others have commented on the quality of the steel, but I find that it takes an edge very well. It probably needs to be sharpened more often than the Leek, but I seem to lose my Leek after 3 to 6 months, which was why I was looking for less expensive replacement. As soon as I lose this one, I’ll buy another Leek in a high-vis color.

Looks are deceiving.
Great style of knife probably can be pretty strong in the outdoors . The problem I have is that the flipper tab is a bit short and the assist spring strong . ( Your index finger will get a headache ) The liner lock is not jimped at all and you have to dig your thumbnail in to operate it . Nice blade and love the style and I own 3 Kershaws but this is terrible in its design . Buy a Conduit or even an Appa don't waste your money .
