No it is not, it is a lace up shoe

I don't thinks o although there is some verbage about water resistant. The y feel great however.

Hello, I do not know about the tongues specifically but can share that Asics are great for high arches. They give great support. Now, if you have flat feet or other, then they may not be great for you. I cannot wear Nike at all. I think it's just about understanding your feet and their special needs. Good luck to you!
