I use acure scrubs and love them, I’m not sure what is actually in this powder, but I followed instructions and applied to to my face, it burned which I thought was odd, I now have bright red marks on my face over 12 hours later.Not great I wouldn’t recommend using.

I’m in my 2nd bottle, I mixed with toner instead of water. Double benefits. Love the packaging and Acure products.

I love Acure’s mask, but dislike this formulation- powdered so you have to add water. I miss the old formulation which was ready to use.

This is the first Acure product that I have tried which has disappointed me. As other reviewers have noted, it is difficult to mix the correct ratio of ingredients based on the instructions. I have tried adjusting the amount of powder I use, and adjusting the amount of water, and it never ends up resulting in a smooth, workable consistency. I would settle for a gritty consistency that at least went on evenly and produced noticeable results. My skin feels slightly better after use but that's it. The results are lackluster.The old Acure Brightening Mask (no mixing required) was SOOOOO much better! I am not sure why they changed it to this but I will not be buying it again.

Not easy to use. You need to dump the contents out of a plastic bag and into the container. Then the instructions tell you to mix a pea size amount with water, then apply. It’s quite messy to mix and apply, goes on very thin, and only makes a minuscule difference in how your skin looks and feels. The powder started to harden in the container by the second time I used it. After that I ended up tossing it into the trash.

I love Acure products, been using them for years. They are affordable, great quality and always smell wonderful. The powder mask has to be mixed with water. I actually have a small bowl and spoon for mask, so I use that. I had to add a bit more than a pea sizes so I could cover my face and neckline. I leave it on for about 10 minutes and rinse off. My face feels amazing afterwards.

This facial mask is somewhat hard to apply - the packaging is made of paper, which means it's compostable, but it also means you can't keep or use it in your shower. The instructions say to use a pea sized amount, but you definitely need a lot more than that. It's hard to gauge how much water to use. Once you have it mixed into a paste, you apply it to your face, but the application felt uneven and patchy. It smells earthy, which I didn't like much. After about 10 minutes, you can wash it off. My skin did feel better after using this, but the downside is that it's a hassle to apply it, so I probably won't buy this again.

When I opened up the container I was surprised to find the powder for this mask in a bag. It was extremely messy to pour out into the container with holes in it so that you can dispense out some of the powder to be combined with water to create the base for the mask. The powder smells intensely of spinach which makes sense since that’s what it’s made out of. It does not feel nice on your skin. It is gritty and no matter how much you try and mix the powder and water together it never becomes a smooth paste like other similar masks I have tried. There were some hard pieces in the powder that did not break down. I was not able to leave the mask on long enough for it to dry out. It caused a burning sensation in my skin and I had to clean it off. It was not easy to wash off and left behind a gritty residue. once I got the residue washed off when my skin dried it was over dried. This mask was not moisturizing at all. Simply not for me. The only thing impressive about this mask was the biodegradable bag the powder came in (which in my opinion is unnecessary). After you dumped the powder into the container you could place the biodegradable bag into water and it dissolved.
