This is a superior tagine, very large, we can all tuck in, yes pricey but worth it. Looks fab, no leaking cooks tagines perfectly, from fish, to good ole chicken

Love it, love it, love it! It’s not the cheapest one around but it’s a great size and looks good and does the job beautifully so to me it’s good value!

Excellent product and exactly what I expected from this brand

A great looking tagine.However it does need to be heated very gently, which is counterintuitive for such a large piece of cook ware. The instructions are very specific about this so we have followed them and so far not encountered a problem. We have bought a ring diffuser as well, which again prevents the thermal shock which would lead to breaking the dish.Best of all the results have been delicious

I bought this as a present for my husband who is a big foodie and loves cooking. He has used it lots, not just for tagines but also for other casseroles where it gives a lovely moist effect. This is a big enough tagine for a party of 6 or so. Many of them are pretty small. It seems unlikely that a pottery item can be used on a gas hob but it really works and can then transfer easily to the oven as needed. It's not as non-stick as a full non-stick frying pan but it does fine for these purposes.

This replaced an earlier version because we accidentally broke the lid of that after about 12 years. Lip of bowl and lid redesigned to reduce hot juices bubbling out of the pot. I use it on the hob with a heat diffuser and it works well. It really does capture the tastes of the spices and other ingredients. It is important to follow the manufacturer’s instructions for treating before first use.

Used it twice now and am very pleased with it. Looks great on my work top too. Bought large size and although its too large really for two its great for doubling up for a portion to freeze and then of course it's also ideal for entertaining. Great service from supplier too.

I ordered one of these from Amazon and it arrived in it's original box. All very well you might think, except that it had nothing inside the box to protect the product in transit. It arrived smashed into pieces. Hardly surprising when the only inner protection was a thin sheet of cardboard to separate the lid from the base.for such a relatively expensive item, I am really quite disappointed that neither the manufacturer and Amazon thought that something so heavy yet very fragile would require some protection during transit.
