Jujutsu Kaisen: The Official Character Guide

I don’t do a lot of reviews but I was compelled to do this one in response to the person who said the book is “bound backwards”. ITS MANGA. This volume, as every manga I’ve ever read, is written and read right to left as it’s kept in its original Japanese format. If you don’t know, try googling, and if that fails, don’t go writing a review because you’ll look like an idiot.As far as content, it’s excellent! It’s so fun to see into the workings of Akutami Sensei and the commentary really adds flavor to the volumes.

Shows all the characters in the first 2 seasons of the anime, also you can see some exclusive artwork near the end. The book also has a lot of insights from Gege himself which is cool and he comments on the inspiration for each character and their design (like how Toji got his scar).There's also a section showing each characters cursed technique, domain expansions, etc.Overall I would recommend it if you wanna learn more about each character in the JJK series.

JjK is one of those animes that is highly entertaining while also having a lot going on all at once. Basically, I was happily flustered the whole time watching the show. The plot seemed so simple until the story began to unfold. And boy did it unfold! There are a ton of characters and each have their own unique special abilities, fighting styles, grade levels, classes, etc. Then add in souls, cursed spirits, and domain expansions. Oh, and don't forget the family lineages and secrets. Hey, anime is always good for a dose of family trauma. Despite all this, I couldn't name all the characters nor understood their techniques by the time I finished season 2. Plus, my favorite character had been taken out and I was in shock! Seriously??? I'm feeling like the author should really reconsider this like Byakuya Kuchiki's life was reimaged in Bleach. Just bring my character back! All that to say I bought this guide to help with my understanding as I'm rewatching the show with my siblings. This book is awesome! I can quick grab the characters bio, demo, stats, and abilities for reference on why they may have won or lost a smackdown. Insane detail and beautiful design such a nice book. Cute art at end. No poster sadly. Why yūji got the dogs out??

I liked that each character gets a lot of answers, not just main characters, like Maki getting 2-5 pages of questions and answers, and that the questions all have pictures that go with them.

We all love the world of JJK and Gege Akutami has given us a cool guide with insight into the craziness that is Jujutsu Kaisen. Reading the manga and watching the anime you may lose some understanding, but this guide clears up some confusing plot points and character abilities. Gege’s character guide may not give the more hardcore fans new information but it’s still a great book to own for your collection.

I love this book and everything in it. I couldn't put it down as soon as it came in. My only complaint though would have to be that the cover isn't good. I've had paperback books and I've never had to worry about the pages or anything being damaged but this cover front and back keeps curving open. I'm not even sure why because I kept it in between other books hoping it would straighten it out. 😭

This was amazing! It gathered all the information we know together, and answer some other question. Like our tavorie character favorite foods, hobbies, birthdays , and all sorts of other cool details. I really loved looking through it, as well as looking at the other random but interesting questions. Over all, it was a 10 out of 10. I really loved it, and have no complaints. I 100% recommend it. Side Note: The art is amazing!

overall i really like this book and it is a shame the back cover has been creased quite badly

Arrived fast the book was in good condition!But once I opened the book I realized all the pages were upside down apart from the front cover/back, I'll still be keeping the book until I can get a new replacement from a shop instead slightly disappointed because I was excited for it arriving.
