Great costume for Zelda fans
My son is obsessed with Link and wore this for Halloween this year. The costume is one piece and fit him perfectly - he’s regularly a size 8 in boys clothes. It velcros in the back, and it does have a tendency to stick to itself, which is a little annoying but certainly not a deal-breaker.The belt with pouches did run quite large, so I had to pin it to shorten it, so it wouldn’t fall off. Overall, he loved the costume and was quite comfortable in it. He did get it dirty, so I sprayed the dirty knees with spot remover, washed on the “hand wash” gentle cycle in my front load washer and then hung it to dry. It came out just fine.

Awesome Costume
This costume is great. Comes with everything we needed except the sword and shield. The boots to wear over shoes were included. Material is fairly thin and pajama texture. Kiddo was excited, it looked great, and he was comfortable. The costume was true to size with wiggle room, aside from the belt. The belt was big and couldn’t be adjusted as small as needed so we improvised to get it to stay on and it worked fine.

Size 4/6 fits 4 1/2 yr old just fine
The comments about sizing had me all over the place debating what size to get my boy. He is 4 1/2 yrs old, 42 lb, 42'' tall. Some comments said it ran small and to size up - but I don't think you need to. At least we didn't. The size 4/6 fits very generous - room to grow for sure in the legs/sleeves and width. He typically wears 4/5 shirts, 5 pants, XS (GAP) and 6 (Old Navy) if this helps for reference. The pants are attached to the tunic, and are a bit baggy but will be great to wear sweats under for trick-or-treating. Agree with all comments about the attachable belt being way too big, it does attach in the back with a velcro closure, but it's way too long to work as-is - you will need to modify with a safety pin or something to fold/pin the belt tighter in the back. The actual quality was fine for what it is - color is great, stitching, and flaps on little belt bags look just fine, faux leather straps are not cracked or in poor condition. The tunic and straps are a bit bent coming out of the package, but can be flattened/straightened out easily. The little elf ears may need some glue/spirit gum to stay in place. Previous comments implied this costume was 'junk' - but it is not - it's actually a really neat little costume for our Smash Brothers-Link obsessed little boy. He is SOO excited to wear it. Don't forget to order a sword separately!

Decent Quality
My son was so excited to receive this costume and loves to wear it. I feel like it’s a good value. He’s wearing a size 7/8 and he’s 7 years old, tall and thin for his age. The double belt that comes with it is a little too big for him and secured with Velcro (so not adjustable) but we rigged it to fit by looping it around itself in the back. We didn’t try the ears because my son wasn’t interested but they feel rubbery and look somewhat realistic. I’m not sure how well they stay on or if they would fall off over time. The boot covers are nice quality but the toes are a little narrow and show the shoe underneath a little. My son wears a shoe size 2. We got the sword and shield from a friend, they’re not included in the costume.

Very cool costume for Link lovers
My son loves this costume. The material and everything is like any other costume you would buy. For all the people that left bad reviews about specific little things, I want to say, what do you expect out of a costume that cost $40? If you want a high tech costume you need to go spend hundreds of dollars on one. My only complaint is that the ears don't stay on well. Otherwise it is a great costume for people that love zelda. It comes with everything it needs.

Cheaply made, doesn't really run small
This is OK for a one time wear costume. The ears don't stay on, the belt isn't adjustable (and is too big), and the boots definitely don't look as good as the photo. I listened to some other reviews that it ran small, but wish I hadn't. My 9 year old is 60 pounds and I think the size medium 7-8 would have been better. The large works well enough so I won't send it back, but it needs adjustments. This beats making all these parts on my own for the costume, but I'd feel better if I had paid $20 tops for it.

Perfect- ears make the costume!
My 12yo son lives to play Zelda, and all he wanted was to be Link for Halloween! This costume was a bit, and he is still wearing the ears just for fun!

well worth it
If your kid is a Link freak like mine is, then this costume is well worth it. It is the same fabric as other Halloween costumes. My son is a size 8 and I bought a size 10/12. It is the perfect fit with a little room to grow. The belt is still too long but I just tie it before velcroing it on. The "boots" are separate from the rest of the costume and are open on the bottom with elastic bands. The ears are rubber. This is the only part of the costume he does not wear. They squish his ears. I bought a sword separate. He put on his Link costume and had to go on a quest around our property to acquire it.
