Fish Mate PUV Pressurised UV & Bio Pond Filter, Green

Delivered quickly and was exactly as described. I’ve replaced a sponge filter in a big black box that was ineffective with something 1/3 of the size. Fitter it to the existing pump and added a filter bomb to get the thing up and running quickly.5 days later and my pond is clear and no longer green. Really impressive that it’s cleaned it up this quickly with the in-built UVC lamp and the filtration system. Will back-flush it this week (week 3) and see what comes out but overall this provides great pond filtration in a tiny package.

Prima di dare una valutazione completa vorrei chiedere al venditore: e fra un anno, quando la lampada Uvc non funzionerà più, come farò a cambiarla?Tra l altro il filtro non ha neanche un adattatore (presa) di corrente, bensì 3 fili di rame scoperti! Bisogna quindi arrangiarsi e installare i fili in una presa (acquistandola da parte ovviamente). Attendo comunque la risposta del venditore, se mi risponderà.

Positives :- This filter was a replacement for my old gravity type. The water in the pond is now clearer than ever and the filter is so easy to clean.Negatives:- Only one the connectors had slight leaks, his was fixed by using a small amount of PTFE tape on the threads, it would be a good idea to include this in the packaging.

Ideal for sinking into the earth so it's not so noticeable. Fairly easy to install. To make it easier to do the cleaning I've put on a permanent hose with a tap so this makes it less hassle as then its just turning the controls and opening the tap.
