PowMr 5000W Hybrid Solar Inverter 48V DC to 110V/120V/208V/240V AC, Single &Split &Three Phase Pure Sine Wave Inverter with 100A MPPT Controller, Support Parallel, for 48V LiFePO4/Li/GEL/AGM Battery

First hybrid inverter I have owned. I worked in electrical engineering but this unit was easy to install and it has operated 3 months so far. We live in Nebraska and for some reason our public power grid fails 6-8 times a year. We have lived in the country 24 years now. Due to my failing health, we wanted a portion of our house power to have back up power. Freezer, refrigerator, most lights, microwave, computer, router and main tv. This 5Kw system with 5,000 watts of battery will provide power for 8 to 16 hours. This allows me time to start a generator if needed and not need the generator for at least 1/2 a day. Eventually we will add solar panels and maybe more batteries. For about $2,200 we have a system that makes life easier. We added a second breaker panel for the 6 circuits we selected. If necessary, this panel could easily be connected back to the grid if the PowMr failed. Highly recommend, good value for the cost. We have not noticed any power glitches even when testing the system.

I own 4 of these right now configured for split phase 220v production. So far I have not had any issues with these once I had them configured properly. I started out with only a set of these, but because I was powering a well along with our RV (which was 120V only) I would sometimes overload one of the units since I could not split up the 120 between the 2 units to power the RV connector. So I had to get 2 more and link them together so that now 2 units could power the same 120v legg that the RV what hooked up to. So far I have used these as our only source of power in an offgrid configuration for over a year with no problems. The PV input appears to support the entire specified wattage in the specs, but we went with High Voltage rather than amps. Another reviewer said they could not pull full amps on the solar charger, so just adding in my experience that it at least does work if you go voltage over amps.One other thing, The AC input on these appear to be too sensitive for dirty generator power. they kind of work, but the generator constantly goes up and down as if its pulsing the load on the generator. I suspect if we were actually using a cleaner inverter sourse or landline power we wouldn't have this issue. I got around that problem by just adding an EG4 Chargeverter to our system to handle the generator charging as needed, bypassing the internal AC chargers in these units. If I decide to connect utility power to the property, I'll then try hooking it up directly to these units and see if they work correctly then.Update: been going strong for 2 years now, offgrid setup. I do not use the AC in function, so I still can't talk to that part. but they are still working well as solar chargers and Inverters. We now also have a 600 ft cabin attached to the RV pad that is also being powered by these with no issues.

I chose PowMr after seeing one used for several years with no issues and I have to say they have been performing wonderfully since the build.However don't count on any help answering questions you might encounter during the build as I contacted them several times for guidence and they only bothered to respond once with a page from the manual that I already had lol while dodging the question entirely.Update, support did finally reach out and offer assistance at a later date, however my questions were already answered and the system was up. :)I recently upgraded adding another 4 units for a total of 12 by installing as parralel A/C systems, 60KW split between the shop with air compressors welders ect. and multiple RV pads with evap. coolers, A/C units electric water heaters, dishwashers microwaves ect. and the homestead needs, greenhouse fans , lights and pond and fountain pumps, the well pump and pressure pumps, with enough for a large indoor aquaponic settup and have been very happy with the results.

Piece of Chinese crap worked for 2 days before first alarm. Loaded this 5kW inverter up with my 2000 W hot water heater and it failed. Took 30 days for the Chinese POS to fail. DO NOT BUY THIS CHINESE MADE PRODUCT. Aims inverters are engineered and manufactured in Reno NV. Buy US.

Compre uno como este es muy bueno pero lo pedí 110 v y 220 y solo lo mandaron 110v

I returned it because it would not be a direct replacement for Alabama Power. I wish suppliers were more forthcoming on their specks.

I will update to see how things work as time passes.Powmr 5000w hybrid solar inverter(~$750 amazon) , 4 napa deep cycle batteries DC27 90ah each ($560-black friday deal), 4 Sunket bifacial 430watt panels model SKT430M10 ($680-deals).I am under powered on the panels, maybe in the near future I'm looking to buy more panels, also batteries, im going cheap for now spent under $3,000 for this setup amd it works. For now I'll be using "solar first" and the grid kicks on to charge batteries if the solar is unable to. Will be updating. Thank you.Jan 21, 2025 0007 (midnight)See 4th posted picture of inverter at midnight the battery is full and the inverter is running normal. I have it on "solar first" charging mode so at night since there is no solar you can see the direction of power supply by direction of arrows grid/generator to charge batteries and supply power to my water pumps and the battery also delivers power thru the night as you can see the arrow direction from battery to inverter. So it seems safe to say we are running on battery and grid intermittently thru the night as there is no sun. So this inverter maybe " >92% efficiency". Will be updating more.

Muy satisfecha con mi inversor a cumplido su función muy bien más de lo esperado lo recomiendo mucho también es muy útil para enviarlo para cuba ya q ay muchos apagones y con baterías se le puede dar corriente a todo en la casa.se los recomiendo
