The media could not be loaded. I recently purchased a Steam Deck after doing intensive research, which led me to purchase this cooling fan to prevent potential issues with overheating. It arrived quickly and already charged, so I was able to test it out immediately. It fit on my SD perfectly, with no risk of it falling off and breaking like some of the other, cheaper fans I considered purchasing.I use it at the highest level at all times to get maximum cooling, and on average, it cooled by about 10 degrees. I could feel a difference through touch, especially when playing larger games (which is where overheating issues come into play according to the multiple accounts I read when looking into the SD), and I haven’t had a single issue with overheating since purchasing this fan.It is slightly loud (I took a video of the fan on its max setting, keep in mind it does sound a bit louder on video than in person), but it doesn’t bother me one bit, especially when you consider that fans are gonna make some noise if you want them to properly cool off your device. I usually play with a headset on, but on the rare occasions that I’m not using one, the SD is more than loud enough to allow the fan noise to fade into the background. Again, it doesn’t bother me at all, and it’s not as loud as some other cooling fans are.The charge lasts a super long time. I actually fell asleep a few hours while playing a game (I know, I know), and my SD was dead while the fan was still cooling away, even after having used it for a few hours already before falling asleep.Something that may bother some people is where the charging port is (I actually prefer it being exactly where it is), but if it’s an issue, there is a 90 degree charging adapter included. It takes a C-type charger, so if you’re like me, your probably have a million of those cords lying around, but if you don’t, it does come with a charging cord that fortunately is more than long enough to use it while it’s charging (way too often the included cord is barely long enough to reach from the port to the block).Overall, it was exactly what I was looking for! The price was within my budget, and its performance is excellent. There could be a couple things that bother others, but they’re relatively small issues that don’t bother me at all. I would definitely recommend purchasing one if you’re looking for a good quality cooling fan for your Steam Deck!

Works perfectly..Steam Deck runs much cooler. Long lasting charge even with fan at full speed. Connects securely to exhaust port on top of Steam Deck. Not loud. Would definitely recommend.

The easy installation, and functionality of this cooler made it 10x easier for anyone to use. I will admit that the fan itself does make a good amount of noise, and also looks kind of bulky on the back of the Steam deck. However, even with all of that craziness aside, the item cools the Steam deck significantly and shows improvement when running high end games.

It has some good suction and cools down the deck fast. It is easy to use and the noise level is acceptable doesn't really pose an issue. It can be used while it is charging. I even use it as a holder for the deck so that I can play with controllers and don't have to bring even more gear with me. This fits in a 3rd party case I bought. its a win win.

I've been on the fence about buying this fan cause I was worried it would be too clunky or just not work. To my surprise it keeps my deck fairly cool and its actually really sturdy. Its pretty secure once installed and I was able to use it out the box right away. The fan can be a little loud but to be fair my steam deck fan would have probably sounded about the same without it. I also like that I can adjust the fan speed cause not every game I play needs the full power and the little kick stand on the bottom is also a nice touch.

This is amazing. It works wonderful for my stream deck that I used constantly. It keeps it nice and cool for hours of use! Before this my steam deck was so hot I’d have to turn it off for a whole. The noise isn’t too noticeable and it fits the steam deck perfectly with no trouble.

Very easy to put on, it says it maybe noise, but I found it to be very easy to tune out compared to some of the cooling fans that the gaming stands have, that tend to vibrate loudly. I also could hardly feel any heat like I do from my gaming stand that kicked back a ton of heat while I was playing my steam deck. Now if only I can find a Gaming stand or a neck holder, that can hold around this fan and I will be golden. Happy gaming, hope this helps people decide. This really is a great product, I have two different gaming stands, and both give off more heat and noise then this fan.

I've found that this product does help significantly with lag in Baldur's Gate 3, especially during act 3 when it's the worst on Steam Deck because of everything going on around you. Keeps the deck significantly cooler and allows it to have less lag and drops/stutters during the heaviest part of the game.I don't use a case with my deck, but this fits just right with a little room to expand, so I'm not sure how it would fit with a case. I would assume that it will fit as long as the case isn't bulky though. I actually love the lil 90 degree adapter for a charging cable that comes with it and I've started using that all the time when I charge my deck even. Puts way less tension on the cord at the usual stress point. All in all, I would highly recommend this if you play without a case or a slim case. It has made BG3 a much smoother experience.
