Very good item, much cheaper than other replacements, changed with the broken one in about 30 seconds, now working as expected. Very happy!

Arrived on time. Removed failed unit, replaced with new, switched on, light, smoke and flame restored.Easy install. Longevity cant comment. Remember to remove plug from socket....wet installation!

Having previously purchased a cheaper unit, this one seems better built with a proper glass lens at the top.No idea how long, hours life it will last but so far, so good.

Have to update,may have been unlucky but it worked for 2 nights then completely stopped.Some replacement items on here have a long lead that you have to try and hide.This one is same as original item.Goes straight in and works perfect.Top Product

I have a Dimplex Auberry optimist fire, (as per someone else’s earlier review which went into great detail). I recently bought one of these transducers as it was much much cheaper than the Dimplex spares department one. There is no lug at the bottom on this cheaper one. It worked for about an hour and then cut out and that was that. In the end I had to buy one from Dimplex, which with post and packing, came to some £83 but it works perfectly. You may be lucky, you may have a fire that works in, but sadly it didn’t work on mine. I would also mention, whilst thinking about it, also bought a cheaper transducer last March (can’t recall what or where but a cheap one, certainly not £83) and only had the fire on a bit in the summer and that one also stopped now, 7 months later, in November, which is how I came to buy this one, which sadly only lasted about one hour. There are various tips about fitting transducers and troubleshooting on YouTube. It also suggested that you take the transducer out if the fire is not used for a long time, such as the summer. A broken bulb will also stop the transducer working I gather. Replacement bulbs are easily available, including Amber ones. There are also tips on how to check if your fan is working or not if you go on line.

Brought this parts a few years ago and it has latest for a while.Good value and easy to replace.

Ordered this as the originalOpti myst unit failed - tried replacing the optical disc first but found it was the unit itself had clearly failed. Pleased to say the swap out of the unit was simple and the fact there isn’t a locating lug as per the original makes no difference. Great item and fire working perfectly again!
