Made homemade hard shell tacos it was so easy to use.

So, I grabbed this on a whim and thought it was going to be stupid. Turns out, I love it! I'm doing a low carb diet so I like the low carb flour tortillas and those egg shells too. I've tried to fry them in my deep fryer with random things in my kitchen and it just hasn't worked well enough for me to not be bothered to do it. Enter this handy device. It is a bit long, so its not going to easily fit in a drawer and will stand out enough to be a nuisance if I don't actually use it, but I don't see myself not using it. I love this thing!! If you want to fry your own shells, go for it too. Cleans up easily and the handle is easy to use.

Kinda fun to make your own, but you can only use for small tortillas. The grip is a little awkward but I suspect after using it a couple times it will feel better using it.

Bought this product from my wife did not work as expected not a good purchase.

This item didn’t bend so you had to have a tall pot of oil to fry the shells. It is not convenient

I loved the idea of the taco maker press but the problem is that it didn't close well enough to make the taco shell in the shape of a taco. The part that holds the taco shell needs to come together better. There is too much space where the two ends meet and so when the taco shell is cooked, it has a very wide far apart opening. Not close together like a normal taco. It kind of comes out between a tostada and taco. Basically being neither one! I'm bummed that this didn't work because it is a great idea and I know I would have loved it if had just worked.
