Couldn't really rate sturdiness as they are new. But I think this is excellent for the price and have used without any problem.

This has super-small ones. It's hard to find small ones that are actually sturdy.

Many Choices to select from. And remember that these wear out too. Just like Machine needles. Also they will rust if exposed to the right amount of moisture. Put a cracker (Moisture Control) in your Needle box and protect them so they are ready to use when you're are ready to use them.

There are a large number of needles for the money and beginners will appreciate have the wide options all in one spot. However the packaging itself is not the best it fell apart on me in 3 short days and I am a careful adult. Being a beginner I haven't yet gotten additional storage but it would easily remedy the packaging short fall. The needles feel quite strong and have been easy to use on 100 percent cotton and fleece blends and a little silk cover project without issue and I find that quite nice for sturdiness and none have bent on me yet.

I was impressed with all of the needles that came in this package. A great buy! I could never find a needle before, and now I have plenty!!

I used some of these needles to teach someone how to hem a pair of pants. He did really great and it saved him about $22.00 here in California if he took the pants to a cleaners to be hem.

As i age, my vision diminishes., As i age my love of quilting expands, it keeps me mentally active and happy as well as broke-due to the cost of fabric. if i cannot thread a needle i cannot sew or work on my quilting projects. therefor a larger eye of the needle is a necessity

The needles are sharp, but I think they are made out of plastic? I was using one of the needles to sew and it broke in half while I was sewing. At least I have plenty of needles if they break.
