An absolute essential if you have long hair & are blessed with oily skin
I used to have one just like this from the Body Shop, many years ago. Why Oh Why did they stop selling them. This brush gives a lovely massage to the scalp, neither too soft nor too rough. It's gentle on the heair, having smooth metal bristles with no friction. It seems to pull less out, & as a person with skin & hair perpetually on the oily side, I can attest that it doesn't cause the hair to look oily as quickly as a boar bristle brush. (I'm seeing the benefits now I'm a few weeks from 40 & still no trace of any wrinkles! It's been a pain in the backside up till now...)

Love these brushes..
I first purchased these brushes in 2013 and then again 2016. They are exactly like the brushes that the Body Shop used to stock. I have quite thick coarse hair, as do my 2 daughters. These brushes get through them no bother - the steel pins are sleeker than the plastic or wooden pins on similar type brushes. I also use this brush when blowdrying - word of warning - the steel pins do heat up from the hairdryer so can be hot on the scalp. Would definitely purchase again.

Feels great when brushing hair, but loses pins
I really like this hairbrush. It's easy to hold, the pins feel lovely when brushed over my head, and it detangles less painfully and more efficiently than other types of hairbrush.But.. one pin came out and was lost the second time I used it, and over the past three months it has shed two more. My hair is quite thin and straight, and shouldn't present much of a problem to a hairbrush.I think this hairbrush is a great design, but they need to fit the pins far more securely.Edit 10 Dec 2020Have downgraded my review again. I've only had this hairbrush a couple of months, and it's not even my primary hairbrush as I only use it for styling after I've already brushed my hair with a tangle teaser. Unfortunately, this hairbrush has now lost at least ten pins. This really isn't acceptable in a new hairbrush that I've only owned for a very short time. I do not recommend this hairbrush.

Same as the Body Shop brush
Bought this replace my 20 year old Body Shop brush which had started to loose its pins. Its just as good.

Brushy
I thought the pins were too soft at first but they're not and you don't end up having your scalp shaved. Bery good sturdy brush. Made in Germany - proper engineering.

Not well made
Loss of metal bristles after 1 week of using it, states Germany on the handle but I suspect it was made in China. Compared to my body shop brush that I have had for 20 years, which is only losing it’s bristles because the rubber base has perished, this is not the good quality one expects from German products!

Bodyshop metal pin hairbrush replacement
Exactly like the ones from Bodyshop as of a few years ago. Thank goodness - I've tried loads since they went off sale (not to mention harassing Bodyshop) but these are pretty much identical. I've bought 3. Not getting caught out again.

Brush was smaller than advertised
Ordered another as this was a good brush but the second was handbag sized for the same cost. Rip off
