Q: Does this work for sweet potatoes?

I didn’t like it ,I was looking for a French fry potato cutter, it didn’t do that ...wasn’t big enough and I don’t think it would cut sweet potatoes .

Q: My husband melted the plastic in the dishwasher. Can I just buy a replacement?

Was it washed on the top rack when it melted? or bottom?

Q: where do you store the extra blades?

I would have kept all extra blades in a Ziploc bag, but I returned the product because it was not a good purchase, it would not chop anything without using great force. No I would not recommend buying this chopper
