This is a warm, comfy sweater for my 45 pound tree-walking coonhound with very thin fur who now lives in the far North Cascade Mountains of Washington State. I tried another sweater that didn't fit her large chest and slender body at all. This one has sleeves, is warmer and is a much better fit for her. As all the other reviews said, I ordered a size smaller than the size chart says. She weighs 45 lbs and I got her the X-Large. It fits her snugly when it's first washed, then stretches out to a looser fit as she wears it. She didn't like me putting it on her at first, but now she loves it and knows it keeps her warm. Even when she goes out in the rain, it gets wet on the outside, but doesn't get through to her skin. I just ordered 2 more of these sweaters for her, and I'll probably order a couple more next fall, so I can always have a clean one ready to go. We only have a couple of warm months per year here, so these sweaters make a huge difference for her.

The great thing is that it fits my Great Dane that I just adopted. He’s a Blue Dane and the color (Red) looks great on him. But he is 3 and is so so happy to be adopted that he is crazy active and is a fur Missile He has managed to stretch the neck out so it goes down over his shoulders. Just saying this so if you have an an extremely active dog that will probably happen😜 it does reshape somewhat in the wash but is still no match for the crazy antics of my Becket. Another really good thing is that the legs sleeves were able to stretch enough for me to put it on his incredibly long legs. No way your dog has those kind of legs unless you have a Dane😊 would buy it again

A sweater which fit my bigger dog comfortably! My dog is fairly big with a large chest area and the chest area can make it really difficult sometimes to find something that will fit him and not be too tight. We bought this for him for winter time, and we're able to get it on and off without issue and it's stretchy which helps him be able to actually move in it well!

I have a big chested dog and this still fits! However, it gets stretched out fairly quickly and the turtleneck comes very high up by her ears. I also think my 50lb pit mix has a fat neck, big chest and tiny legs. This one is the best I found for such an odd body shape.

My dog & I love these sweaters! Yes! I said sweaters, because I also purchased one in purple for him. He is a hound mix and has a broad chest so it’s hard to fit him for sweaters & coats. This sweater is great because of the longer sleeves & the cutout underneath. The fit is much better than other sleeveless sweaters I’ve purchased. Much roomier for him and not tight or binding across his shoulders & chest. It washes up great too! I’ve washed both sweaters (cold water) several times in the past few months, there’s been no loose threads, shrinkage or pilling. The fabric is soft so my dog actually wants me to put it on him when he’s cold. Your pet will thank you for buying this sweater for them. 🐾❤️
