Great value.
Perfect urn for hot water and coffee. Stays warm for awhile after unplugging. Perks somewhat quickly for the quantity

Burn Hazard!
The media could not be loaded. The valve handle is a terrible design. I burned my fingers every time I opened it. This really needs the old style level that is above the pour spout. It actually looks backwards. I couldn’t flip it over. It just stops.The other valve problem is that it would not lock open. I kept trying to and it would snap down and splash hot liquid on me.This arrived with a big dent in the side. Doesn’t affect it working, but not good for a brand new product.Takes about 30 minutes to get to 198f-200f. Then shuts off so as not to boil.

your coffee urn is so great i bought a $100 urn stopped working after a week then i bought your urn and i love it you guys have one of the best urns out there.... ty

Rusted after the first use. Garbage.
Bought for a graduation party. I never got to use it. I tested it out when we first received it a month ago. It worked. So I cleaned and dried it noticing the bottom was crusty already around the hole to the dispenser. Cleaned as well as I could but it didn't look the same. So hard to scrape the crust. I tested it out with hot water. We have normal water.Dried it well and packed it back up a little disappointed it wasn't like new anymore but it was cleaned enough to use. Opened it up for the party and it was so grossly crusted I didn't want to drink whatever would come out of it. What a waste. That's some cheap "metal". The return window is closed so I'm stuck with it now.

Stopped working after 7 months of weekly use.
We plugged it in on Friday and unplugged it Saturday night - worked fine for 7 months; then died. 1 year warranty but 30 day replacement. Back to Hamilton Beach I go.
