FITS MY PLATFORM DOCS!!
I was searching high and low for a shoe rack that is both compact AND would fit my platform boots, but weirdly enough none of the common plastic and wooden types on amazon had enough shelf height for them (or they were ugly/flimsy/bulky). Found this one out of sheer luck and the dimensions fit the bill. It was very easy to assemble, worked exactly as expected, all while being sleek and aesthetically pleasing. 10/10 no notesFor reference: I wear US women’s size 7. I also own platform converse high tops and those fit very well with a lot of extra head room, though my platform docs are my tallest shoes and any taller they may not fit as well (see pic). Width-wise, each shelf fits 2 pairs of my size 7 shoes with room to spare but not enough to pin to fit a third pair comfortably- they’d have to squeeze a little.

Deserves Six Stars
This is a simple, elegant, brilliantly designed, nicely finished steel shoe rack. Unlike most other shoe storage, it holds hiking boots in the same space as other shoes, and, because of the way shoes are stored at an angle, any dirt on soles cannot fall into the shoes below (wonderful for outdoor shoes). The angled storage also makes the footprint of this rack noticeably smaller than other racks. It comes very well packed, to protect the attractive finish. It is easy to assemble and, once it's put together, rigid and sturdy enough that a second rack will rest securely on top of the first even on carpet.I was so impressed with this shoe rack that I bought a second and stacked them, using just four pieces of black-coated electrical wire to keep them together solidly and invisibly. Though it wasn't cheap, this shoe rack is worth every penny of its price, for which I got visual simplicity, superb function, and no need ever to replace it.

not quite big enough for larger men's shoes
This is a beautiful and well made shoe rack but its not quite big enough to accommodate my size 13 shoes. They fit but only with a bit of effort. I sent it back but I recommend it if your shoes aren't as big as mine.

Very slim, high quality
This was the thinnest shoe shelf I can find. As you can see in the photo it fits exactly behind my door and allows my front door to open completely. Feels very stable, doesn't wobble when I bump it or place a shoe on it.It fit all my sneakers, and my Timberland's fit on the top shelf. Don't get this if you want to fill the lower shelves with anything taller than a sneaker. The metal has smooth edges so you can't cut yourself and the paint has a nice matte finish and doesn't look like it will flake off easily. Over all I feel like I got the higher quality I paid for.Assembly was quick and straightforward. Everything fit together as intended.

Disappointed
I’m usually a fan of Yamakuza products, having bought several home items from them in the past. Usually, I found their products to be well designed and constructed, but this shoe organizer was a major disappointment. The two ends don’t fit together well, and the screws keep popping out. unfortunately, I missed my return window, soI’m stuck with a useless organizer. Also, all the instructions were in Japanese. This wasn’t too bad since I could translate on Google translate, but it was an inconvenience.

Holds a lot of shoes - if you have small feet!
I'm a 'normal' Japanese size shoe (US Womens 5 to 5.5) and this easily fits three of my shoes on each row, giving me enough storage for all of my shoes. My husband on the other hand, wears a US Mens 12, and only two of his fit on each row, so for him it's not a great storage solution if you have much larger feet - or more than eight pairs of shoes. That being said, I like the minimalist look, and the construction seems relatively sturdy (though none of my shoes are particularly heavy). It fits neatly into our small entry closet (we live in a 1940s house with minimal closet space), so our shoes are not on display. It's a good interim solution until we can build a getabako (shoe cupboard) in our entryway.

Most important is a good quality product and that product is true to advertisement.
Easy to assemble, it fits in a very narrow weight entrance space, metal is sturdy. At the entrance, frequently worn shoes and boots are accessible and neat. Overall my purrr meter is on HIGH.Assembly FYI: Instructions are not in English, the assembly diagram is easy to follow, but you do need to have your glasses on to see the details. A few of the given screws were too short for my liking, so I used screws from my toolbox.

Overpriced, but good for narrow spaces.
I needed a shoe rack that would fit in our extremely narrow entryway, and this did the trick, but honestly for the price that I paid I'm a bit disappointed in the overall functionality. It's smaller than I expected, which I guess is my own fault. I should have looked at the dimensions more closely. But you cannot fit more that 2.5 pairs of shoes abreast on each level. So there's an odd amount of space being utilized. They should have made it narrower to fit only 2 pairs abreast or wider so you could fit 3. The width it's at just leaves this awkward dead space and in an apartment like mine where space is at a premium I find this small design flaw annoying.I don't find it as flimsy as other reviewers have said, but it's also not like difficult to knock over. We have ours pressed up against the wall and have had no issues so far.Overall I like it, but don't love it. I think it's overpriced for what it is.
