TrixieNatural Living Tammo House, 25 x 30 x 12 cm

It’s a very cute house. Very well used by my mice. I’ve bought a couple over the years, this one had glue that dried and made it slightly wonky but didn’t affect the function.

This is a very well built house although I purchased it more as something for my gerbils to play and chew on as they already have the trixie cottage for there home, just need to be careful if using for larger rodents like gerbils and larger hamsters as the holes on the log part are not very large and your pet could get stuck, I made the holes bigger myself before giving it to my gerbils and now they love climbing and chewing on this house, if you have mice or small hamsters such as Russian dwarfs then this is ready to go and they should love climbing on it etc. With this home you get a lot for your money compared to separate little chew toys which can cost nearly as much as this large item.....

Both good things and bad things about this product. I bought this initially for my mice, but due to a mis-order with some hides from eBay they ended up not needing it, so I instead put it in my gerbil tank, thinking they'd use it as a look-out to climb on. One of my gerbils got stuck in the little ladder within a couple of hours of the house being in there, so I'd suggest removing it if you intend to put it in a cage with larger/adult rodents. It is easily broken if this happens however, just pull outwards so the rungs pop out of the grooves. The doors and the space inside each level of the house are somehow big enough for both adult gerbils to sit inside (mine like to nap in the bottom level), but it is a bit of a squeeze. Overall, it's a nice addition to the tank as it works as a house, climbing frame and hiding place, but I'd be aware of the dangers it can provide to bigger animals if you plan to use it for them.

This is a lovely toy for a dwarf hamster...if it doesn't arrive broken which mine did.They love to climb up and all over it.Not suitable for a roborovski hamster though but great for a Campbell or winter white hamster but do check there are no nails sticking out or the whole thing falls apart when you unpack it.Amazon really do need to be more careful how they pack things as it seems these Trixie toys are prone to breaking easily.This is a lovely toy and gives your dwarf a lot to do..but be careful of nails sticking out etc.I would recommend the Tammo house..it gives your dwarf plenty to explore and climb over.

I love these little houses, they're perfect for my mice. I can't imagine it being any good for hamsters as the houses are very small and so is the tube. Also its very tall so it wouldn't be great for hamsters.Perfect for mice though!

My mice absolutely love this little house - well actually it's not so little, which is great!I think it could be a bit of a tight squeeze for something like a Syrian, although I know those guys can squeeze into pretty small spaces so you never know!I have mine in a barney cage which is huuuge, you might not fit this into a conventional hamster cage. But it's the perfect excuse to upgrade your furbabies home!

This is a wonderful, interesting toy for my mice. They absolutely love clambering through all the little nooks and crannies and as it is made from natural wood they are loving being able to gnaw at it. It has only been delivered today so I cannot say how long it will take for them to gnaw through it enough to have to be thrown away but the wood is really thick so I imagine it will last quite a while. Overall very pleased with my purchase and I will definitely be purchasing more in this range. Thank you.

My four female mice absolutely LOVE this house. They squeeze into the bottom house because they are determined to sleep in it and always take their food into the top stories to eat it. My only criticism is that when I opened it, it had quite of lot sharp splinters and rough patched on the wood, so it's worth taking the time to remove these before letting your mice play.Just in case anyone is wondering - do NOT buy this for your Syrian hamster - this is perfect for mice and dwarf hamsters and maybe gerbils would probably love it too but the holes are too small for Syrian hamsters.

The media could not be loaded.  This creates a great space for my gerbils and gives them a lot more activity and entertainment. Wasn’t expecting it to fit in my 20 gallon long cage but it does I’m very happy with this purchase

Mäuse lieben es, ABER: Wenn man es Mäusen dauerhaft anbietet, benutzen sie eine Kammer als Toilette. Das riecht dann sehr schnell sehr unangenehm und lässt sich quasi nicht reinigen. Ansonsten finden es die Tiere wirklich super. Ich habe es immer wieder den Tag über auf den offenen Käfig gestellt, und 9 von 9 Mäusen (!) haben es gerne benutzt, um durch die Räume zu klettern, zu Nagen, zu erkunden oder eben als Toilette. Ich würde es wieder kaufen, aber man bietet es idealerweise den Tieren nur für wenige Stunden als Abwechslung an oder aber als Wegwerfmaterial bis es zu verdreckt ist. An sich aber eine sehr schöne Idee, sieht sehr gut aus, vor allem mit Mäusen drin. Verarbeitung ist dem Zweck angemessen.
