This is used in our 35’ fifth wheel RV & thus far it has worked great. We leave it plugged in all the time with the drain hose going into the kitchen sink, even during the time the RV is stored but plugged into power. We’ve used this in our previous 40’ motor home & never have had any mold or mildew issues in either one. It’s quiet & changes colors, I don’t know why other than it can. It can be programmed to run for a certain amount of time but living in central Texas it’s humid here most of the year so it runs 24/7. Great product & easy to clean too. Don’t loose the small plug in case you decide not to let it drain continuously, but accumulate water in the container. I almost threw it out with the box accidentally so decided to keep the box where I store the container during moving days.

got this dehumidifier for our 19-foot trailer. I wanted something that would help take the moisture from the nightly condensation I've seen on the windows. I needed something that could run quietly as we slept, and I didn't want to have to empty anything out in the morning. This fit the requirements i was looking for! This dehumidifier can work in 800 sqf, which is more space than in our camper. It runs quietly as we sleep. It does make a little noise, but it's more of a white noise for us as we sleep. It's not much louder than 35db. We set it up close to the bathroom sink with the door open, and it takes the moisture out throughout the night. I ran it 3 times a week. It did about the same amount each time it was used in the week. It has a light. You can change the colors or have it off. I do like that. It had a tank to see how much water was removed as well as a hose to drain directly out. It has an auto shut off if the tank is full, so you have no worries for a mess to clean up later. There is a digital display to show the mode, timer, and water indicator for the tank. This dehumidifier is compact and travel friendly it is roughly 7 inches deep, 5 inches wide and 12 inches high. It is easy to use and is user-friendly.

This dehumidifier worked great up until last week. I bought it a year ago in November, and it's now October. I had the drain hose attached so it could empty into the floor drain in my basement. I had to tilt the thing back to get it to drain fully, but that wasn't a big deal. The tank ended up full on a daily basis, so I know it was pulling a ton of moisture out of the air and preventing me from having mold issues. Other than having to help it drain, I had no issues. It was easy to use, compact, quiet, and unobtrusive.Last week, the power strip i had it plugged into had some sort of issue and turned off. Once is turned it back on, the light in the dehumidifier no longer came on automatically when I turned it on, and the unit itself started turning off after several hours of use. Then the light stopped working, and then finally the unit stopped working altogether. I'm not sure why the power strip getting turned off would have caused this; it didn't impact any of the other stuff I had plugged into it once I turned the strip back on, but I suppose it could have caused a short or something. Or it could have been a coincidence and the thing was going to stop working regardless. I'm guessing this is the case, given that it didn't stop working all at once, but various things went wrong over the course of a few days.
