Honest review & comparison
We’re all here for the same reason. Cause this product is a dupe for the Glo Recipe Watermelon serum. So here’s my honest review after several weeks of use.Packaging: same shape and overall aesthetic, yet made of plastic instead of glass. (Cost saving) There is also more product in this rather than the GR version.Application: same pump applicator that appears to dispense the same amount as GR.Feel: application feels the same. No watermelon smell, which for someone sensitive to fragrance is a plus. It also lacks the luster the GR formula has. So no glowy dewy after effect. This product feels a bit more tacky rather than smooth and silky like GR. I have several steps after this so it’s of no difference to me. I’d imagine someone that wears a full face of makeup may love it. Feels like it could be a good primer. But I don’t wear a full face and I use moisturizer and sunscreen after so I haven’t tested the theory. (FYI sunscreen gives that glow look too!)Overall, I’ve been quite content with the product. No breakouts or reactions (very sensitive skin) and it seems to be to par with other niacinamide formulas I’ve used.If you want the dewy glow side effect of the og formula, stick with GR. If you’re looking for a good dupe on every other aspect, this one is it!

Dollar tree quality
It was terrible it made me break out the packaging was plastic it’s not worth the price you could probably find the same thing at Dollar tree

This product makes my skin feel so smooth. As a primer it works very well under makeup!

Not the best choice for skin brightening
It’s not a bad product, if worn alone. If used under foundation, it does nothing to brighten the skin. The smell is plastic

Side by side comparison
My daughter has the brand name product and did a side-by-side comparison for a couple of days. There is no comparison. This item does not have the moisture-retaining power the brand name does. Side by side, this product is slightly thinner, and after 1 minute of applying, you cannot tell where you used it, whereas the brand name is still moist and dewy for quite some time. Save your money and buy the name brand.

Not the best "dupe"
The product it's self is fine. But it's nothing like Glow Recipes' Dew Drops. My skin does feel hydrated but it's not to the same level. Decent for the price though.
