Great product for my purpose
I bought this a a recirculation pump for a hot water system on a parts washer ( between a filter and a tankless water heater ) seems to be working fine after about an hour of running! Very pleased so far!

Only lasted a couple months and then started leaking. Don’t buy!

Using this as a pump for a tig water cooler didn’t realize it wasn’t self priming but I was able to get it working by sucking on the return line

There is no pressure switch. I should have did more research.

Broke on install
While tightening, one side of the male threads broke off inside of a female coupler. The threads are sloppy, tightened it until it bottomed out and snap .... into the garbage

small pump that draws 0.2 amps via the 12 volt adapter. Guessing about 12 watts power and plenty of suction power for water. think it will work okay for 50/50 glycol mix in hot water solar system

An efficient & powerful pump for it's size
I'm using this pump to circulate antifeeze through ~50 feet of copper tubing in a homemade solar collector connected to a liquid to liquid heat exchanger (water heater) It's located mid way from the air gap at the top of the collector. This little pump produces some very good flow!Using the included 12v adapter, it produces greater flow than I needed for continuous circulation, so I employed a PWM controller which is modulated by a microcontroller to keep temperatures balanced.I'm very pleased that this pump can handle liquids up to 212° F - as I often pump at temperatures in the 160°~195° F range.In the past week of use, this pump has not leaked at all and runs fairly quietly. Unless the pump achieves cavitation, I can't hear it running. When primed and running at full voltage, it achieves at least 12' of lift. Since my application involves about 5' of lift, the pump is not having to work hard at all!The inlet and outlet are 1/2" and the pump comes with two brass fitting to thread onto the input/output - with barbed tubes to fit 3/8" I.D. tubing. Since I used coupling unions for my pipe, I did not need the fittings but they may come in handy for some installations.I measured the current drain of the motor at ~1.3 amps at 12 volts DC, so it could be driven by a photovoltaic cell easily.Overall this is a very good pump for the price point.
