Thank you Amazon! Very Happy.
It made me nervous to make such a large purchase on-line. But I could not pass up the great savings on a double oven I have done a great amount of research on. We installed it ourselves (need some electrical know-how), turned it on, and have made some great meals. The experience was perfect, and we saved close to $1,000 from big box retail/furniture stores. It is heavy, and very awkward to move around. We were able to check for dents and dings and found a small one on the side; which we would never see, so we accepted delivery. There were no other cracks, dings, scratches, etc. It came with all parts and pieces, and was easy to register with GE. The picture shows it installed in a cabinet we designed for it based on its install guide we found on-line and you can see if fit perfectly. We went through the setup instructions. Not fully intuitive but if you stick to the guide it is easy to navigate and calibrate. Having convection on both halves was very important for us, and it has paid off with evenly cooked meals actually cooked within suggested times! We have made pizza, baked potatoes, banana bread, roasted ham, roasted potatoes, chicken nuggets, french fries, and bacon. It has cooked wonderfully compared to a Whirlpool Gold model we used to struggle with. We are at about 2,500 feet elevation, in a very dry climate.

STOP - DO NOT BUY unless you have higher than standard cabinets and a straight shot to you vent
Right now, I would give this cooktop zero stars if I could because after two days, multiple trips to the hardware store (an hour round trip for us) and dozens of configuration attempts, we have still not been able to connect the downdraft. It is simply TOO BIG to fit under a normal cabinet. I read the reviews that said it was a pain, but if you have standard height cabinets and a previously fixed vent, it is really more like impossible. The review by R & J Sentmen says it best: "Installing the downdraft was a real pain, as others have already noted. If I had designed a blower that would mate with no duct work I had ever seen in any house I’ve ever owned or worked in this would be it. A square output requiring an adaptor but mounted so low that there is not going to be room for an adaptor unless you specifically designed your kitchen with this stove top in mind. You or your installer will have to struggle with this but it’s dooable. Just don’t expect to have this connected on the first day without several trips to the hardware store for you or your installer. They could have mounted the blower motor up another 6 inches before it would have hit the underside of the stove and made the plenum that much shorter, that would have made it much easier to get all the ductwork inside, but they didn’t and I have no idea why."At this point we have no idea how well the cooktop/fan function, if we like the way it looks and cleans, etc. All of those things can only be determined if we ever actually get to use it. I shopped for months for a cooktop to replace our very old coil version and the selection is limited. I landed on this one because I liked the look of it the best. In hindsight, a poor choice. If you have a newer house, If you can plan the vent location to match the cooktop and if you have higher than standard countertops, you might as well give this one a try. But if you don't match those criteria, I would highly suggest looking somewhere else.

Great cook top
I was forced by the set up of my previous cook top (Jen-air) to purchase this one. After a failed attempt to have it installed by a company chosen by Amazon (apparently no one in my area would do it), my husband managed to install it himself (bravo sweetheart). Took a little getting used to because my old one was such crap and this one BANGS. So far, no mars to the finish, but I'm neurotic about cleaning it properly, regardless I know it's going to get scratched. 3 speed vent fan is really nice to have. I really like the 2 burners in 1 feature and the "melt" and "power boil" features. Haven't used the "bridge burners" feature yet, but I like the idea. Overall, I really like this cook top.

Good looking stove, but…
Although Empava support is very good, the stove, not so much. Stainless steel European design looks awesome, but …The five stove top burners will not stay lit on first ignition, or even some burners require multiple attempts. The oven temp is off, 400=350 degs, the blower fan is loud, and this morning the warmer drawer came off its rails.I took a partial refund and enpava sent me replacement parts. I haven’t had time to take the stove apart and replace these parts. Hopefully all issues will be resolved. I’ll update this review once they are installed.

Beautiful but needs some minor help
Pros: stove top is easy to clean, the burners are powerful and boil a pot of water in no time, oven bakes evenly, sleek appearanceCons: the knob for oven temp doesn’t have a catch point when you are turning it off so you have to pay attention or you will overshoot the “off” point and turn the broiler on, the oven has no light indicating when it has reached the temp which means you have to hang around to listen for the beep, the ovem comes with only 1 rack so forget baking 2 trays of cookies and lastly a couple of the burners don’t stay ignited on first try (someone else mentioned this and sounds like received replacement parts so will contact support).

I love this oven
I love this oven!! It is beautiful and well designed. Easy to operate. I haven't tried all the features yet, but so far I am happy with our choice of ovens and look forward to many years of baking. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a stylish, efficient oven. No complaints in the first month of use.

ok
Stove functions great. Fan connection underneath is almost impossible to connect to an existing downdraft vent. If you hook up a rectangular to round adapter to the downdraft, you only have about 9" to the bottom of a standard cabinet. I tried to leave a review on the GE site, but they deleted it.
