OK stimulator, proprietary pads and connectors
The efficacy of energy use when muscles are contracted under a no load condition is questionable at best. Load (e.g. weight or resistance) is required for the muscles to do work, which causes your body to expend ATP and release energy. That is, you need resistance to the muscle contraction to burn calories. For me, I have significant damage to my spinal column, which is only relevant because it has caused me to explore the gamut of electrical nerve stimulating machines for interruption of pain signals as well as a mechanism to release muscles undergoing spasm. I prefer interferential current devices that are tunable so I can target and interrupt nerve signal transmission, though transcutaneous devices can provide some relief. This device is transcutaneous. Be aware that it doesn't work to contract muscle if there is much lipid layer to get through. With proper electrode placement, it does cause muscles to contract and relax, which can be an effective massage technique to get cramped muscles to release. I would like to see even a relatively simple chart of what each of the modes do, as well as a relative scale of intensity so modes can be compared. As is, I can top out on each mode without much issue and continue about my day as normal as long as the pads stay attached. My skin is reactive with the pads, and after about an hour total in contact with my skin the pads start melting into a sticky goo. Delamination of the pads happens with my skin whether wetted with water or specialized electrode to skin matching gel. This delamination can cause inconsistent contact, or even result in gaps and arcing that will damage surface tissue. That is uncomfortable, to put it lightly. So an overwrap is a requirement to avoid this situation. And on the topic of wetting, it says to use the included spray bottle, but there was no spray bottle included. This device is a portable transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulator. It is compact and fairly easy to use. The pads did not survive as long as a full charge on the batteries, so the life of the unit in my case is near nothing for me. The snap connectors are not standard for any other devices I've encountered, but I may be able to make an adapter. The adhesion of the pads is questionable, and I strongly suggest an overwrap to avoid delamination from the skin under operation. While it does stimulate nerves and can cause muscle contractions and subsequent relaxation, it is not an effective replacement for resistance workouts. Depth of transmission of the stimulating signal is shallow, so this only affects muscles and other tissue near the surface of the skin. Caveat emptor, YMMV, etc. Only you can decide if this device is what you're looking for.

Ab stimulator
This is an ab stimulator. I got this because I’m tired of my huge flabby belly. So I don’t know about the others who reviewed this, but let me tell you it tingles. It’s not as uncomfortable as giving birth, but it is certainly uncomfortable. You can feel it. I never made it past level six.It is easy to use. It tells you several times to wet down the pads. You literally just pull it off the plastic and put it on your belly. You do have to charge all three of the connectors up. Very easy to do as it comes with a charger and one charger for all three of the receptacles. It can go from one to 25 and it has eight different modes. I could not make it past six on my first day. It’s tingly the whole time and I wet mine down very well so I’m just saying.I will give you that I’m going to use it daily and I will keep updating! Right now I’m giving it four stars. It does everything it states it will do.Now I am a plus size woman. The arms would not stay on my arms because I have fat arms. So I’m just throwing that out there. I tried using them and I put them on my arms, they would not stay on.My abs I had no issues because I put it on and then I put my exercise pants on over so that kept it right in place. I did walk around my house while I had it on and found it more comfortable than just laying in bed.

it does what it says
Do i think it helped burn fat? not really haha but it does do what it says so the product itself isn't faulty. It does trigger your muscles pretty good though.

Effective Yet Pricey Ab Stimulator
I've always been skeptical about products claiming to enhance fitness without much effort, but I decided to give this ab stimulator a try through the Vine program. Surprisingly, this device proved to be more effective than anticipated. It essentially functions like an abdominal TENS unit, using electrical impulses to stimulate the muscles, prompting you to flex your abs rather than doing the work for you.The sensation is a bit unusual at first, but it's a manageable discomfort that leads to genuine muscle engagement. After several uses, I could actually feel my abdominal area working, mimicking the contractions one might experience during traditional exercise. This isn't a miracle device that will sculpt your abs overnight, but it does contribute to muscle activity and could complement a more conventional workout regimen. However, the price point is a bit steep, especially when not discounted. While the technology is intriguing and the product does what it promises, the cost is slightly higher than what I would expect for the value it offers. When at full price, it seems overpriced, which could deter potential buyers who are looking for value as well as effectiveness. In conclusion, if you're curious about incorporating modern technology into your fitness routine and don't mind the investment, this ab stimulator is a solid choice. It delivers results if used consistently and as part of a broader fitness strategy. Despite the high cost, the performance is impressive, earning it four stars. Just keep in mind that this device is an aid, not a replacement, for active fitness efforts.

lacking instructions of placement
Be careful after first use, I had mild skin irritation the next day on one side of my abdomen. I could feel this ab stimulator did work along with the biceps. Had zero instructions on placement, had to use the internet to find something close to matching the product. Although I could feel it working will, I will not use again because of the irritation and pain it caused the next day.
