Good quality and nice design
Great monitors for office. We have purchased 6 of these over 2 years. Easy to install and so far no issues whatsoever. The slim design makes it look good on our desks and they don’t take much space.

Can't beat the price.
Great value. Solid monitor. At that price, you can't beat it.

Nice monitor but beware false advertising!
The monitor itself is nice and thin and the picture quality as well as color accuracy are pretty good considering this price point. However, it claims to be VESA compliant yet it only has 2 screw holes on the back. It also doesn't fit the normal screws so I needed to buy M4 8mm screws. I have it mounted now using only 2 screws and it does make me nervous but it's holding. Fortunately, it's very light weight.

Great vibrant colors for the price-and it DOES tilt!
Got a mini desktop PC and I was looking for a monitor. My daughter had just gotten a new gaming laptop and the picture on that was stunning! Like stunning. I looked up and found this monitor on a 'Best of' list so I decided to give it a try. Gorgeous images! Great colors (not as good as her laptop, but this was under $90-sometimes you just get what you pay for), and images that really popped.I couldn't get it to tilt and checked reviews and questions where it said it didn't have any tilt. I actually bought another stand for it, and when I was trying to take the stand off that came with it...it tilted. Are you serious?? Yeah I would have NEVER applied the pressure necessary to get this thing to tilt just to see if it did. But I kind of put my thumbs on the back of the unit by the base and did it that way. This is a great monitor with a gorgeous picture. I think I'd have to spend at least three times as much to actually have an upgraded picture.

Great for Budget
For the price, decent size, great refresh rate, makes great second smaller monitor to my gaming setup.

VESA compatible
Everyone keeps saying this monitor is NOT VESA compatible, but that's only partly true. It does not have a 4-hole pattern on the back. BUT, there are two holes parallel to the stand mount insert that fit the inner square of a VESA mount. And this is so light, it doesn't try to tip a multi arm stand.I have it mounted on this (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08SLRF65R?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) right now, and while it's only 2 of 4 screws, I have no fear of tipping.Does it exactly match up to a standard stand, no, but is it doable? Yes. ACER isn't THAT stupid (although they don't advertise it anywhere, so maybe they don't want you to know).

Wrong aspect ratio is not 16:9
The picture quality is fine for the price, but the aspect ratio of this monitor is way off. The physical size of the screen is 479x260mm, which is closer to 16.5:9 than the standard 16:9 as falsely advertised. I have confirmed this with a measuring tape. This has the effect of stretching the screen too wide. The SB222Q manual shows an option in the system settings for changing the "Wide Mode" option to "Aspect", but suspiciously shows it only when the ancient, inferior VGA mode is selected. Otherwise it is completely disabled for HDMI and cannot be changed from "Full". Any software level scaling will cause unpleasant blurring on the edges and eliminate any crispness the monitor would otherwise have. Returning.
