I don’t know what happened and why the battery didn’t last? It died on me a week after I purchased it and I’m not sure why. I installed the replacement you sent a week ago, we’ll see if it lasts.

This battery is very light, installed easily with some time needed to place padding to make up the difference in size (smaller than the factory, lead/acid battery. It has remained charged, even with long times between use.

Compared to my old battery in my V-strom 1050, this one weighs like 10lbs less, almost nothing, a full cup of coffee weighs more. It also powers the bike with auxiliary lights just fine. It has foam inserts that allow the battery to fit in most bikes, fit mine perfectly and have a lot of extra foam left. No need to buy a 200 dollar battery for lithium, this one works fine, I will update if I have premature failure. Affordable and easy to install.Comes with additional screw holes on the Pos and Neg for auxiliary hookups also!

I HATE battery terminals that have those little rectangular nuts under he terminal. It just doesn't make sense to me. Why would they do that? Based on that alone I HIGHLY recommend the Tusk battery! It has threaded bosses that you simply run the supplied screws into - how easy is that? The case appears to be very durable very unlike the outgoing battery it replaced, which was fragile. And this one is smaller than that battery, so the applications are almost limitless. Add featherweight lightness and this is the best motorcycle battery I have ever owned. If it lasts as long as it should, I can see no reason to buy any other brand - ever.
