These Ohuhu journal markers are just beautiful!! They write so nicely and excellent for colouring in!!

I'm very happy with these. I have tried many different felt tip pens as it is my preferred medium in adult colouring books, these are definitely some of the best I've tried.The packaging is good, but you can tell there has been some consideration towards the environment. Okay, these are made in China so it still has quite a big impact, but it's rare to find pens not made in China or Taiwan that are actually affordable. It comes in a cardboard box (which I didn't realise when ordering) so the reduced packaging option is good. The plastic box is strong and has a useful handle the clasp is sturdy although it's tough to open the first few times, which led to me cutting my finger. That's my fault really, just something to be aware of especially if you're giving these to a child.The pens are sturdy and feel more premium than more expensive pens I've bought in the past.The Swatch chart is good quality and fits nicely in the box. I was hoping for replacement tips like Ohuhu's other products but there are none. The colours are a very good range of pale and vibrant. I would've liked an extra brown colour though. The cap colours do not match the ink colours, this is standard across all brands though.The brush tips are firm enough to be easy to control and it's quite easy to colour small areas with it. As with all felt tips it does fray over time but it isn't too bad. The fineliner end is good and seems resistant to splitting. The cap for the fineliner side is very tight, I'm hoping it will loosen over time because I really struggle to pull it off.These pens are quite wet so will bleed through thinner paper if you're not careful but it hasn't been too bad in my double sided colouring books (they have good quality paper). This is a bonus for watercolour paper. However it dries relatively quickly. It also means less streaking if you work quickly. I have been able to layer a few times even on cheap printer paper (it will bleed through) without any pilling or tearing. I made sure to wait until the ink had dried before adding a new layer. These sort of blend, but not very well unless you use them like watercolours. Again this is normal for felt tip pens.In terms of use on watercolour paper, it frays the nibs more. But the pens are wet enough that they don't dry out when using them quickly and for large areas. I found it better to rub the pens on a piece of plastic and use a paint brush or water brush pen. These are actually much better than watercolour brush pens with nylon brushes which I'm very happy about. When water is added over the dry ink on the paper it does behave like watercolour although I found it best to use a lot of colour and a lot of water. It has a nice watercolour effect that gets less streaky as it dries to the point where it almost looks like standard watercolour paint.I can definitely recommend these, they're better than some of the well known brands and are cheaper too. Not sure how long they'll last but they're so cheap it isn't really a problem

The thickness

These are nice pens in a lovely presentation tub, with a good range of colours. I haven’t got round to using them yet but while swatching them I found the brush tip to be lovely to colour with. I did have 1 issue and that is the pecan colour the nib has been pushed in, I have contacted Ohuhu and waiting for a response but it sounds like they can’t send individual pens which is a shame.

I like the dual tips that allow me to trace in one colour and fill whatever I drew with another one. I still have to try them in a colouring book.

Sehr gute Pinselmarker. Auf dem Aquarellpapier arbeiten sie hervorragend. Mit dem normalen Papier funktioniert es nicht. Aber das sind ja letztendlich Aquarell Marker. Das soll man nicht vergessen.

Reasonably priced, nice tip of pens which makes it easy to color. Doesn't dries up. Very good range of colors.
