I unfortunately fainted twice in a year when running and cut my head open. This is light enough, discreet enough and has enough air flow that I am able to run in it. It stays on well and I never feel like it is going to fall off. If I were to crack my head again it would probably hurt but I am sure this would reduce the extent of the injury. This was basically a perfect solution for me.

Not the most stylish cap, but you could always liven it up with some sequins or a badge.I have a fairly average sized head and even when adjusted it did sit a bit on top of my skull, looking a little small, so possible aimed more at women? I'm not the sort to let this put me off and just cocked it to a jaunty angle to confuse the eye.This does exactly what you;d expect it to by absorbing small shocks to the noggin, like clipping an attic joist or low tree branch. It's not going to save your from serious trauma and is no replacement for a proper site safety hat, but works for what's intended - bumps.

Does not add too much bulk, which I was looking for when working in restricted spaces in my loft. The shorter peak means the light from my head torch isn't obstructed.I bought it after banging my head too many times in the loft. Therefore this has been well worth buying.

Functional, lightweight and comfortable. I could not want anything more with this bump cap.Adjustment is very easy with this cap with an easy "pull to tighten" strap at the back.Ventilation is excellent throughout and the forehead band wicks away sweat very well.Bump protection is good - this has definitely saved me from several scrapes!

I bought this for my (almost bald) husband who was always bashing his head and coming home with blood dripping! Not now, it does what it is supposed to and protects his head nicely.

*The back clip looks like it could be a little stronger, - one I had from another seller broke so I tied a knot.The black polystyrene (bump protection) keeps my head warm in the winter.I strongly prefer short peaks and the peak length is good, though I wouldn’t want it any shorter.The waterproofing feature is additional piece of mind.The strips of padding at the sides are not fixed/velcroed so tend to fold under but I don’t feel that through my hair.I like the blue colour.

Bought for my 86 yr old Dad to use on his mobility scooter. Great Product.
