These latches come with wood screws ("beveled" on the underside of the head, to be countersunk), and I think they should have screws that are flat under the head, like machine or sheet metal type screws are. Also the screw threads were almost too large to fit through the mounting holes in the latch parts without forcing them. In the end, I used my own hardware for mounting. Otherwise, this product was perfect for my application and the latches function well.

Seem to be of good quality, but a bit smaller than expected...not the venders fault. Would be good in many applications I'd think.

Used to put locks on wooden boxes

Read the dimensions in photos before ordering. They are just right for my application.Replaced a $25 plastic latch on Dometic chest fridge with this one. The Dometic latches are weak and break easily. These seem pretty strong for their size. Time will tell. The spring part works like it should.

Good product using them for outside use. Kind of a pain to install the buckle it’s self. As it wants to close because it’s spring loaded. But overall good strong product.
