Good quality.
This is way better than the less expensive, synthetic brushes, and the badger hair brushes. You get what you pay for. Being made in Italy, is better than the CCP. You can actually work up a lather from a shaving bar, and the bristles don't fall out like the CCP made brushes.

Good and inexpensive choice for newbies.
I think we should all have boar, synthetic, and badger to enjoy the journey. This is one of my first boar brushes. Very pleased with this. Would I recommend as a first brush? Well sure, why not, and the price is great.

Break in the brush!
This brush is amazing after it's broken in. Boar's hair gets softer as the hairs develop split ends. You can speed this up by soaking the brush in water for 20 minutes then brushing it across a towel while pointing a hair dryer at the brush. Rotate the brush in different directions, use different brush strokes and directions until the brush is completely dry. Then soak it again. I just did this about 10 times over the course of a Sunday and the brush turned so soft yet it keeps its back bone. I don't think I can go back to badgers.

Better than expected
I wanted a stiff hir brush and this did the trick. Makes great lather and holds water to keep shave moist and cut free. Pleasantly surprised!

Great Shaving Brush!
Great shaving brush. Very durable; I use it every day (almost). There's nothing like a good soap-and-brush shave instead of using spray junk.

My new favorite lather brush.
I started wet shaving 3 months ago and have used a few different larger brushes, including a silver tip badger brush. This brush has become my new favorite. It took a few days of soaking and brushing on a towel to get it broken in, and now it's so soft yet firm. It does a great job of generating lather and feels great when applying it to my face. A superior brush for a reasonable price.

Just what I wanted
I am fairly new to wet shaving. This is my third shaving brush. I have 2 badger brushes, but I feel they are too soft and too big for me. The boar bristles are not as soft as badger (not very much less), which I really like. They are a little "prickly" on my face, but I like that I can now feel the brush on my skin. The brush has a smaller footprint on my face, again what I wanted (24 mm knot). Many people say boar brushes have an odor. I did not detect any. I soaked mine overnight before the first use, and then for the next 24 hours. I wouldn't soak mine next time, as I don't think it broke the brush in much faster.

Good shaving brush
It’s a good shaving brush, it’s not a major big knot brush but gets the job done. I have used it many times since I received it and has not lost one single hair yet. So yes if you’re looking for a new brush, you will not be disappointed.
