This was super easy to measure, install, and trim to the right size. I have it at the top of my basement steps and the transition is from linoleum kitchen floor to plain wood on the top of the stairs. I just laid it out where I wanted it and then used a pair of scissors to cut it. It cut very easily. It stuck well, the adhesive is sticky and doesn't come back up. The way this is shipped is in a roll and it is flattened to roll it up which makes it so that the bend that goes over the step it straightened. The bend on my roll doesn't bend. I figured I'd give it a few days to flatten on its own but it never did. I placed some weights and books on it to force it down, but it popped back up. I finally took a hair dryer and softened it with some warm air and that did the trick and now it looks fantastic and I have enough left to replace it twice more so I'm very happy. My suggestion is to cut what you need for the install and don't remove the adhesive but bend it in the correct direction and weight it down for a day or two before you install it so that it bends in the correct direction.

Will review further once we attempt to install - but disappointingly the strip comes rolled up in a bundle so there are creases every 8-10 inches along the length. I hung the strip upside down from a height to try to get it flat, that didn't seem to help. Now I've got the strip laid out flat and stretched to see how long it takes the creases to flatten out.My concern is that when I try to apply the item to the stair edge - it wont lay flat and adhere - there might be a bubble where the bend in the product is.Will update once we attempt install...

They're extremely durable and super easy to install. I used a bit of extra adhesive glue to support what they already come with and they hold onto my stairs super tight. No wiggle or issues. I got these for my mom to help give her extra traction when going up and down the stairs post-hip surgery and she really like them. Helps her feel secure when walking on them. Really good product and glad I got them.

will not stick to brand new stairs no matter how well cleaned.. bad product.

This stair nosing not only adds slip proofing to stairs, it adds durability to the edges of wooden steps. Easy to install using the adhesive, and easy to cut to size. Recommended.

I stick well with force but with in a week its coming out and annoying while walking its not well made. it should be strong glue.

Definitely helps traction wise, but I used a little Liquid Nail adhesive under it after trying to just use the sticky edge provided. I doubt it will ever come off now.
