Stopped working on the second day of using it, the fault lights were flashing on both chargers and the back of the charger was smoking and smelt of burning. Binned.

I have a fair few Makita batteries as well as some 3rd party ones. I bought this because I have more batteries than chargers and when a couple are already on charge but I’m going through batteries quickly.This seems to charge as quickly and handle both genuine and 3rd party batteries fineThe finish alert is very audible, which is helpful when you have a load of power tools going!I see no difference in run time of batteries after using this or the original.So based on all that I’d say you can’t knock the value for money here!

Great charger to replace damaged original one. Can’t tell it apart from functionality. Obviously it looks a bit different but charging and durability are 1:1. Takes the same amount of time to charge the batteries for a cheap price, great value.
