Hirt's Gardens Chinese Money Plant - Pilea peperomioides - 4" Pot

I just received this and I am SO impressed by the packaging and how healthy and beautiful this plant looks. It even has new growth already in the center!! Hands down so worth the price 👍. I will be looking to see what other plants I need to add to my collection. Thank you!!!

It came with mostly all leaves off the plant and in the plastic. It only came with 3 small leaves and I think They died or fell off the day after the 2nd photo. My latest photo shows how pitiful it is. I have tried to get it to come back and take, but it just won't sprout anything. If you're not close to wherever this company ships from, I don't recommend. It took 10 days in transit to get to me. I'm sure that's what killed this little guy. I've bought plans from Amazon before, but through a company close to me and no issues. They were listed seller again but then when order was placed it said fulfilling by 9green. I'm assuming they're on west coast and wouldn't of ordered if I knew that. I think Amazon should start showing where these places ship. I would of paid a few extra bucks to get here, although shipping was almost as much as this plant already. The seller close to me usually arrives in a day or 2. 10 days is unacceptable. Hope you can recoup funds from the shipper, as I think this is mainly their fault. Although, the plant was pretty sad too. I would give a better review but what I received looks nothing like the photo and what's being advertised. Although I did see reviews where some people got these huge plants and others smaller ones. Should be noted if that happens during certain seasons or something. Sorry, just have to give this one a bad review and that's not assists fair. Hope those looking read this all. Make sure you're close for SHIPPING...Maybe ask the size that's coming too. I've learned my lesson on plants with this one. Ask seller questions before bugging

UPDATE::: I had a special delivery from Joey at Garden Direct and I have got to say I am so super please it took everything out of me not to cry this amazing person brought my plants to my home and also brought me a beautiful pink dalmatian Chinese evergreen due top the Horrible shipping. The nicest person you've ever meet. Truly cares about plants and the customers. I would love to give them 1000 stars for caring and showing it. Thanks so very much GardenDirects.com you're truly the best and close to me. Super plus on that.. totally pleased.This is by far one of the most beautiful lil plants i've ever seen. Will be putting her in her new home today, will see if I know how to add the pictures. If you don't have one atleast you don't know what you're missing. I bought 2 more can't wait until my babies get here.UPDATE:: REPOTTED IT. THIS LIL ANGEL already is giving me 3 babies ive taken pictures of them. 1is huge and the other 2 are small but sooooooo beautiful... you've gotta get atleast 2 to 4 off these beautiful plants..I really love this..

I received this plant faster than I expected. Unfortunately there were three leaves snapped from their stems in the package when I opened it which can be unavoidable during shipping since the plant has long stems with big round leaves, but the seller could do a better job by wrapping all the stems in a tube shape which should avoid letting the stems and leaves hitting around inside the box. This is the reason I reduce one star. Other than that, I had an inquiry to the seller about my order after I placed it and it was answered quickly. I have ordered several plants from this seller and I like their plants, ovetall very healthy. I will try and see if I can propagate the snapped three leaves with their stems. The plant itself though looks ugly with snapped leaves that I will have to cut them along with their stems out, it already has some baby leaves growing on the side of the pot. I will sure to repot it and give it a bigger pot.Overall I am ok with the plant, but if I purchase this plant from a store I will definitely exchange it for another that doesn’t have ‘an injury’ and looks ‘bald’ once the snapped leaves with stems are removed.

January 2022: It's an amazing plant. I repotted it in a slightly larger pot last spring and it's already grown four babies.- - - - - - - - -May 24: Considering that I ordered it in the middle of frozen winter, it's thriving and growing beautifully. I'm very happy with it.- - - - - - - - -January 31: "Extra large"? It has about 8 leaves. For $17 this is way overpriced.

I buy many plants from Hirts and it’s starting to become a crap shoot on what I’ll receive. This plant has sealed their fate. It arrived in bad condition. They tape the dirt down for shipping and someone didn’t notice they taped babies shoots down with it too. Half the plant had brown bruising on it that didn’t come from shipping. This bruising came from how it had been handled while growing so too many leaves quit frankly looked damaged. I know plants are not going to be perfect but this one they should have kept to themselves. Half the plant was yellow like it was either over/under watered at Hirts. Shipping was quick. 4 days and the plant arrived dry so I don’t know when they watered it and the leaves were droopy. When I contacted customer service, by the way they were quick to respond, they said all of this is EXPECTED in shipping. Smh the only thing I truly expect in shipping is drooping and slight dryness. BUT if they had watered the plant and I received it in 4 days no way it would’ve dried out that fast and turned yellow. Hirts said give it a few days and with proper care it’ll perk up. It’s been a week. The bottom half of the plant is still going yellow and droopy. The top half did perk up but it’s not the green we see in pics. I will say it’s not yellow, just sickly. OHHH and it definitely was not an extra large plant!
