Great quality product but the D bulb just isn't big enough to seal my hatch. This is as close to OEM Ford that you can buy. The 1/2 D bulb is not tall enough to seal my 1997 Aerostar xlt rear hatch but i came up with a fix. I bought 5/16 high pressure gasoline hose that has a outside diameter of 9/16 and i inserted it inside the weather stripping bulb so the bulb would retain its strength and shape and it works like a charm NO leaks!!! I would buy this weather stripping again and reinforce it the same way if i have any leaks in the future.

I chose this seal strip to edge a large access hole in the back of a cabinet for my camper van, so that I wouldn't be chipping pieces off the plywood or scraping my hand. It also makes it look far neater and more intentional. This rubber stripping slid over the very thin plywood perfectly (and tight enough to stay put). I'll also be facing my bed with thin plywood, with access holes beneath it, and hope to do the same there since I have plenty left over!

This weather strip seems really nice, I haven’t had a chance to install it yet but I think it’ll work. Actually I think it’s going to be almost a perfect fit which is surprising because it’s universal weather stripping. It feels like good quality with thick but flexible rubber that will create the waterproof seal I’m looking for. Overall I’d highly recommend it, you won’t regret it.
